🅣🅔🅝 The next day was a free day and everyone was getting ready.
"So when are you guys going to be back?"Ahyeon asks
"Probabaly by 8" Suhyeon replies
"I'll be back around the same time"Yoojeong says .
"OK then,see you guys in the evening" Mina says,waving at everyone and running outside.
Saeri walked outside as she was greeted by the sunlight. She waited for some time and later a horn was heard. She turned around to find her bestfriend,Mirae standing there.
"Hi "Mirae smiles at her . "Its been so long since the two of us went out"Saeri explains but Mirae had a look of guilt.
"Actually,it's not the only two of us" Mirae says which makes Sari tilt her head
"Yungsuk is coming too?" Saeri asks,Yungsuk was their other friend and Mirae's roommate
"No not her, she went out on a date with her boyfriend" Mirae replies
"Then who?" Saeri was left in confusion
"HE IS COMING ALONG?" "SHE IS COMING ALONG?" The two exclaim together.
"Mirae? But why?" Saeri asks "I had to choose between meeting either Jay or you so I chose both " Mirae replies looking at Saeri and 7 guys behind her.
"Saeri ,Jungwon come on. Get along for a day" Heeseung pleads.
"And plus you will get to meet our lovely girlfriends"Jake says as Saeri glares at Mirae
"Trust me,the other girls are great" Mirae whispers
"Ok whatever then"Saeri gives up "Hyung ,come on." Niki insists.
"OK fine"Jungwon gives up.
"But I'm not going to be anywhere near her"Jungwon says
Others might not have seen it but there was a slight pang at the girls heart. She kinda felt sad after hearing that but would she let it show? No.
"I am not interested either" She scoffs back and the two look at each other before rolling their eyes almost in sync.
The two's plan to avoid each other was going ok but backfired when they reached the Park. When the girls arrived, the others just stuck with their partners leaving Saeri and Jungwon with each other.
The couples were walking hand in hand while talking within themselves. With no other choice left,Jungwon and Saeri had to walk side by side since they didnot want to become a third wheel of any sort.
Feeling the silence,Saeri finally decided to speak, "You performed well yesterday" The guy who's hands were in his pocket, slightly looked towards her,
"I know" He says
Chuckling she avoids to look at him, "And also, thanks for helping me practise . After all, the win and the perfect performance, It wouldn't have been possible without you"
This was the part where he stopped walking , his eyes grew kind of wide. Before she could look at him, his smirk climbed up in his face
"What?" She asks him
He shakes his head saying it was nothing. With a shrug,she starts walking again unknown to the fact that he was looking at her from the behind that too with a smile.
The other guys noticed it,well Niki did. Niki signalled everyone to look at him and they did. They all looked amused to find him smiling ,most shocking was that it was due to someone he quote on quote ,'hated'
"Tsk, 'I don't like her ' my ass" Niki says and they all jokingly scoff.
