Hitsugi no Chaika: Toru Akari x Reader

Since a lot of students are graduating..... you could say that they're this chapter's inspiration ^_^

It's finally the day.... The day of your college graduation. After so many long years the day of you finally wearing a toga with your friends finally came.

You were wearing your favourite (colour) (style) dress and (footwear) with little but noticeable make up and your hair is styled.

"(Name)!!!!" You spun around and smiled. Your close friends are there. Chaika Trabant, Fredrika, Shin (A/N: yes, he's your friend) and the Acura siblings, Toru and Akari.

You were friends with them since middle school that you developed feelings for the male Acura. But you were certain that he only sees you as a friend.

"Hey guys!"

"(Name) hello." - Chaika

"Today's finally the day huh?" - Toru

"Yeah... All those years of academics and stuff finally paid off." - Shin

"But damn... That research's a pain! Its a miracle that I passed that completely." - Fredrika

"Well don't relax for now... This is another step in our lives you know." - Shin

"Way to ruin the moment Shin-nii." - Toru

"Ani-sama... He is right." - Akari

"Tsk. Now you're on his side." - Toru

"I'm on nobody's side." - Akari

"Now now you guys, no fighting. I dont want you guys bruised up when you go up the stage."

The ceremony began and it was really long that mostly consisted of speeches.

Timeskip....

It was almost over and you could see some of them crying already. You just smiled and looked ahead. "But before all that... a student will be making an announcement. Toru Akari?"

Toru? What is he going to say?

I looked at them and they were smiling at me.... "What? Is there something on my face?" You asked and you all listened to him talk.

"Uhh... Hi. As you all know, we're graduating and... we'll be going our separate ways. But like the rest of you, I had the time of ny life. And uhh... I don't want this day to end without her knowing....who she really is in my life."

"Kyaaaaaa//She?! Who's she??"

"Toru... Ne ne Akari... Do you know who?"

"... I do... But you should listen."

"...?"

You looked at him and wondered. He never mentioned anything about a girl he likes... Nah, it ain't me....but I hope it is me.... But who am I kidding? That's like a slim chance to actually happen.

"She... She's the reason why my college years are the best. And... I am happy to say that she's here today, graduating along with us.... but sad because we will go our separate ways... And... I'll be lying if I won't miss her."

"Kyaaa!!//Who's the lucky girl?"

"And I want to let everyone know that I, Toru Acura, am in love with (full name)."

And they all were squeeling/fangirling while you were so shocked at what he said... He loves me?

Shin and Akari pushed you and led you to the stage and there, you slowly walked to him..... The audience (aka students, teachers, parents, guardians, photographers, etc) were squeeling/cheering.

You were somewhat a blushing mess but when he held your hand, they squeeled louder.

"(Name).... We've been together since we were kids.... And we've been classmates from middle school up to college and now....," he paused and kept his eyes locked at yours. "Will you make me the happiest graduating student by giving me the greatest gift ever.... and that would be officially calling you my girlfriend?"

Everyone's practically screaming and cheering you on to say yes....

You took the mic from him and looked at him in the eye, your hand still wrapped in his.

"And will you also make me the happiest graduating student by giving me the greatest gift of you becoming my boyfriend?" You asked and he hugged you and spun you around, the both of you saying yes and the mic caught that.

Everyone cheered on for the new couple annd when he put you down they were chanting 'Kiss kiss kiss' but you looked at them and said "not yet guys" and they groaned but you just laughed at them.

When the ceremony officially ended, everyone's greeting you. You smiled at them and moments later you were with your friends, teasing you and all that but when Toru came, he placed his arm around your waist and you smiled and blushed.

"Save the lovey-dovey for later. We must party!!" - Fredrika

"Toru, (name). Congratulations. Chaika happy." - Chaika

"Thanks Chaika." - you

"Finally got the balls to confess eh? Took you long enough."

"I agree with Shin-nii... Ani-sama was taking so long before he could confess."

"O-oi! I was still planning alright! I wanted it to be memorable." - Toru

"And it came out very unexpected but undeniably memorable." - you

"Chaika agrees!"

"Oh look! Smile at the camera guys!" - Fredrika

The photographer appeared and you all posed... But you were smiling along side Toru with your arms entertwined and happily smiling.

"I'll never forget this day."

"Me too." He smiled and the two of you went to the party your friends and their families (including yours) prepared.

Anyway, my cousin graduated yesterday and she looked pretty like wow.... She really transformed ya'know... Like wow.
