I haven't finished watching KnB season 1 (yes I know that the series is over and I do know what happened in the end because of the numerous spoilers and news and posts =___= ) so I am so sorry if  he'll be OOC *bows repeatedly*

"Hey (name) look who's here!" (Friend name)
"Ssshhh.... Wait a minute." You say as you continue reading (novel).
"You said that minutes ago." She pouted and you chuckled.
"I'm a bookworm remember? Anyway, what were you saying?"
"It's Otsubo-kun!"

You took a looked out of the library window and indeed saw the basketball captain. Currently he was jogging around with the other team members.

"Someone's blushing." She teased.
"I... I'm not!"
"Oh? Then why are you so red?"
"I... I.... It's because of the heat!"
"(Name)... the library has two air conditioning units. And both are on."
"I... Is that so...? Ahahaha *sweatdrop*"

Your friend just pouted and looked at you.

"Hey, why don't you just confess to him?"
"H... Ha??!!"
"Sshh!"
"G-Gomen."
"I'm serious (name), why won't you just confess to him?"
"He.... He wouldn't notice a girl like me." You softly muttered.
"Ha? I'm sorry what?"
"Nothing. Come on, our next class is about to start."

You've liked Otsubo ever since he became your classmate when the two of you were in your second year of middle school. The two of you sometimes talked but there wasn't much conversation between the two of you during high school.

And how time flies, its already the third year of high school for the both of you and you haven't event talked to him even for once.

But you still like him.

Timeskip to the end of the day

I was done wearing my school shoes and was about to leave the building when someone called me. "(Naaaaaaaaame)-Chan!" And when I turned around, it was the manager of basketball team, (girl name).

"What is it (girl name)-chan?"
"Can you do me a favour?"
"Well.... sure I guess."
"Really?! Thank you!"
"Well... What is this favour of yours?"

She whispered it to me and I looked at her with wide eyes. Before I could say anything, she placed her hands together and gave me a puppy dog look.

"Onegai (name). I really need your help."
"B... But what about your other friends?"
"They're all busy. Please (name)... Pleaaaasssssee."

You sighed and looked at her. "Fine, I'll do it." And to which she hugged you dearly. "Thank you thank you thank you (name)."

You smiled and hugged her back. And so the two of you decided to walk home.

"Trust me (name). You'll be fine."
"I hope so (girl name)-chan."

The next day

It was Saturday and it was 8 in the morning. You looked at your reflection. Dressed in black shorts, a white shirt with a sleeveless (colour) cardigan, black converse and your signature (colour) nerd glasses [A/N: yes, in this one shot you wear graded glasses, not those hipster glasses with no lens]. You sighed. "Well... I guess this'll do." I grabbed and bag and off I go. Go to where? Well I'm on my way to the gym because I'm the temporary team manager for the day.
