He killed my mother

I woke up because of a loud scream coming from downstairs.
I was immediately up on my feet and started running downstairs.

I thought Jimin and Dad were "fighting" again but no..,

This time it was Mom and Dad fighting.

Mom: How dare you huh?!

They were both arguing in the living room while Jimin was quietly sitting on the couch. When I took a closer look at him I noticed his swollen eye. Mom was furious!

Mom: AREN'T YOU GONNA TALK?!

Dad: You are in no position to ask me anything.

He simply stated before glaring at Jimin.

Dad: You really like playing the victim, huh?

His voice was so calm, it really gave me the chills.

Mom: IT WASN'T HIS FAULT!

She yelled.

When I looked back at Dad I got scared again. His face was pale and bitter. I was scared for my mom and Jimin because Dad looked like he was about to explode.

When Mom looked in my direction she seemed surprised. I guess she didn't expect me to be there.

Mom: Y/n! Please go into your room, okay? Take your brother with you.

I didn't wanna leave mom with that monster alone!

When Jimin looked up at my shocked face, he was already on his feet to take me away.

Dad: No. They will both stay here.

Dad blocked our way and grabbed my wrist.

Dad: You have nothing to say here.

He said while staring deep into my mothers soul.

Mom: EXCUSE ME?!

She walked up to Dad and was about to slap him when he let go of my wrist and slapped my mother first.

My eyes widened when he grabbed her hair and pushed her down the nearby stairs. The stairs that lead into the scary dark basement.

Mom's yells for help could be heard through the whole house but no one came to help.

Dad was about to run downstairs when I stopped him.

Y/n: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP IT!

I was crying like crazy. The one he just attacked was my mother. I was already shocked when he attacked Jimin but this was a whole different level.

Dad:She needs to learn her lesson, sweetie.

He smiled at me.

Dad: She needs to know that she can't interfere in my business.

Y/n: You are crazy!

Dad: Well your mother was the one attacking me first, right sweetie?

Y/n: NO!

Dad: Enough Y/n. I'M HER BOSS AND SHE CAN'T TALK BACK.

Then a few seconds later Jin and the others came running down the stairs. I guess they heard the yelling.

Jin: Dad! What happened?

Him and the others looked shocked when they saw Jimin's swollen eye and my pale shocked face.

Y/n: Mom!

I made my way downstairs to help mom but when I saw her at the end of the stairs, she wasn't moving. And she had blood all over her face.

Y/n: MOM!

I yelled while running towards her.

I kneeled down to her but she didn't move. SHE DIDN'T MOVE!!

Y/n: No, mommy!

I cried like a baby, I guess.

I quickly checked her pulse but there was nothing.

N.o.t.h.i.n.g

My heart started beating faster and faster, It was really painful.

Y/n:Mom no! Please dont l-leave me!

I cried even more.

I wanted to drag her upstairs but she was too heavy! I accidentally ripped her shirt which made me see her arm. There were bruises all over her body!  He must have hurt her in the past! This must have been going on for months now!

How did I not notice anything?!

I was about to faint from all the stress and sadness at once.

Dad killed my mother!

I couldn't process these words in my head.
I just couldn't. This must be a dream or something. It couldn't be real.

V: Y/n?

I saw V standing at the top of the stairs looking at me with a straight face.

V: Is she okay?

Y/n: Are you blind you asshole?! She's dead!

He took away the only one I had left. And I was the one witnessing everything.

What now? Am I the next?
