"No no no no noooo!"
Yashiro banged on the door with her fist."Let us outttt! Come back!!" She yelled.
The dark gym storage room seemed a lot smaller than it previously had been when she had been putting balls back in the baskets.Currently, she was locked in the musty, dark room. With...someone else.
"You better come back right now or- or- or else!" She roared.
But her friends had already gone. She groaned and facepalmed.
"God, why do they always do this...why meeee?""Hey, it's not just you that's stuck in here you know! And they aren't even my friends!"
Yashiro turned around and glared at Amane. It was dark, but light still shone through the gap under the doors.
Amane and Yashiro were retuning balls to the storage room when her friends had cruelly locked them in, using the teachers keys that they stole off her desk.
Yashiro groaned and flopped down onto the pile of gym mats.
"Whyyyyyyy?" She whined.Amane sighed and sat down on the corner of the mats.
"How long do you think it will take for us to be let out?" He asked.
"I don't know, but I sure hope it's soon."The two sat in silence. Yashiro evaluated the situation.
She was locked in a musty gym storage room, with none other than Yugi Amane.
It wasn't that small, but it was definitely small enough to keep her and Amane at least 4 feet close to each other at all times.
Yashiro mentally facepalmed. Her friends knew that she had a crush on Amane. She cursed them under her breath.
Now, she could try and break the door down, but that would be embarrassing and probably quite painful. Or, she could wait and see if anyone came to save them.
Unfortunately, it was the end of the day, so no other classes would use the storage room.
"This is your fault." Amane sighed.
"What!?" Yashiro sat up to face him.
"It's your fault. Your friends did this."
"Uh, no, I didn't ask them to!"
"Then why did they do it?"Yashiro froze. She couldn't just tell him "because I like you and they thought it would be a good idea".
"Because they're mean."
"Sure." Amane scoffed.
"I'm telling the truth!"He rolled his eyes but smiled.
"And I totally believe that." He drawled.Yashiro fell back down onto the mat with a sigh, staring at the ceiling above her.
"Is there a light in here? It's dark."
"Probably."She sat up again.
"Well let's find it."
"What, are you afraid of the dark?"
"No." She mumbled. He let out a laugh. Yashiro could feel her face heat up.
"You're scared of the dark."Yashiro groaned and stood up.
"Nope. Now where is this light?"She started feeling around the walls. She felt ridiculous, but she didn't like the dark.
Amane sighed and started looking with her.
The pair felt the walls around them, trying to come across a light switch."Oh, Yashiro, I think there's one next to you."
Amane pointed next to her.She looked around, but didn't see a light switch.
"Where?" She inquired.
"Here, I'll get it."Amane stepped over to her and reached behind a badminton net. He switched the light on. It was dim. Very dim. And it was flickering slightly. Yashiro sighed. Better than no light.
