i come back into the room to see phil shirtless, his abs, his body, his face, everything about him just made me want to stare at him all day long.
"look i know you love me but seriously it's not like you've never seen me." phil says
"i don't love you." i say
"since when." he says
"i like you. no love." i say
phil nods
"i'm not meant to love you. we're not a couple" i say
"are you scared of commitment?" he asks
"i don't really want to talk about it..." i say
"you can tell me you know." he says, "i'll listen."
"trust me. you don't want to hear." i say
"i mean i probably don't." phil says
"why can't you just not be annoying?" i ask, "is it that hard?"
"very difficult." he chuckles, "now if i go get you a fanta will you tell me?"
"how do you know fanta's my favorite?" i ask
"i know everything." phil says walking towards the door
"not gonna put a shirt on?" i ask
"and cover this up?" he asks, "no chance."
i unlock my phone and go onto instagram and post an old photo.

suddenly i get a notification that josh had messaged me. i was shocked he even wanted to text me.

𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵: All good
𝘆/𝗻: how's your little sister?
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵: I think she's okay, she misses you.
𝘆/𝗻: i miss her too...
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵: Obviously you miss me too
𝘆/𝗻: obvs how could i forget about you

"i'm back." i hear a familiar voice say as i quickly turn off my phone, "woahh that was a quick reaction. what were you doing?"
"nothing." i say
"didn't look like nothing." phil chuckles coming over to where i was sat and giving me my drink
"i was just texting someone." i say
"and who is this mystery person?" he asks
"josh." i say
"i'm being serious who were you texting." phl says
"i was being serious." i say
"you were texting josh?" he asks
"yeah... "i say
"𝐣𝐨𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱?" he repeats
"there's one josh." i say
"why the fuck were you texting him?" he asks me
"i don't know, he asked me how i was so it would be rude to not reply." i say
"he's just trying to get back with you." he says
"oh and how do you know that? maybe he's just being nice?" i say
"no guy would ever just say that to their ex who slept with someone else." he says
"some might." i say
"trust me. guys are horrible, being one myself i'm allowed to say that." he says
"okay well thanks for letting me know." i say, "i was thinking we could go and find ben in a bit."
"woah you think i'm not mad?" phil asks
"you're mad?" i ask
"the whole texting thing." he says
"what's the big deal? you can literally read the messages and see we were just being nice. it's not like me and you are together." i say
"pass me your phone." he says
i unlock my phone going to the conversation before handing my phone to phil. i start to see him scroll, then stop and starts typing.
"what are you doing?" i ask
"just letting him know a little something." phil says
"please don't." i say
"you don't want me to tell him that you like me?" he asks
"no." i say
"okay." he says, "i see how it is."
phil chucks my phone down on the bed and starts walking towards the door, "where are you going?" i ask
"dunno." he replies, "but don't follow."
