Sometimes I want to hate you!

Sometimes I want to hate you,
Sometimes I want to hate you,
with every single strand of my soul.
But beloved,
every time I even think about you,
a tingling sensation fills my body,
Colours around me become more vivid,
A flowery scent fills the air,
And the sun starts warming as if it was not a winter morning but a summers sunset.
Oh darling,
Sometimes I want to hate you,
For a love this colossal,
Tends to end up in misery.
Poets and writers wrote endlessly about lovers,
Whose love is out of this world.
They wrote how it hurt and sad it made them not being with their loved one,
They wrote about feelings that could shake up entire empires with their intensity.
However beloved,
I am going to write how happy it makes me simply knowing that such a love is possible,
How delighted I am with the knowledge that you somewhere exist.
That maybe your scent is similar to the violet flower I saw yesterday,
Your eyes may be the same colour as the forest after the morning dew,
And that your smile may shine brighter than the moonlight.

Ah, but why should I hate when I can love?
