Chapter 22: Help

Y/n POV

Mystique approach the two and talked to Akesha while Hattie turned to me with bloodshot eyes

"Hattie, come here"

She walked towards me and pulled me close for a hug, I then patted her back and she cried even more

"Hattie... are you starting to like Akesha?"

I asked and she nodded her head slowly, I just gasped in surprise and I saw Mystie getting irritated by Akesha

What's happening?

"I'll help you, okay? Come to my dorm later"

I smiled and wiped her tears, she just hugged me and I signaled Mystique that I'll go with her

Mystique POV

"Explain"

I muttered and crossed my arms at her, she just gulped nervously and sighed

"I sleep with other people even though I told Hattie I like her"

She mumbled and smacked her shoulder, she winced in pain and I just glared at her

"You shouldn't have do that Aki! What If she hates you?"

I asked and Akesha raised a brow

"You act kind of different Mystique, did something happen?"

Akesha asked, I blush and laugh shyly

"I'm courting Y/n"

I mumbled and I chuckled shyly

"Oh wow, congrats dude-"

"That's not important right now Akesha, apologize to Hattie and court her properly. I'll help you"

I said and gave her a thumbs up

"Really?"

She asked and I just nodded my head in response

When I returned to the door, I saw Y/n eating sweets with Hattie who's eyes were red from crying

"Hi darling, I talked to Akesha"

I mumbled and kissed her ears causing her to blush furiously

"Are you two dating?"

Hattie asked and Y/n shook her head as response

"I'm gonna ask her parents for permission to court her"

I grinned and Y/n didn't mind me, she just ate sweets like there's no tomorrow

She loves sweets that much?

"That's great, unlike me who's being played-"

"No no, don't think that, we'll help you be together"

Y/n says and I just sat beside her and opened my mouth so that she can share her sweets

But all she did was glare at me and turned her back at me

Is she on her period? I'm scared hehe

"Don't worry, Akesha likes you... she said that she'll properly court you"

I said and the two turned to me shocked

"Hattie, play hard to get, let her court you but play hard to get!"

Y/n suggested and just agreed with her, Akesha is my bestfriend and as her buddy, I'm helping her

"Thank you guys, I'll go now"

Hattie bid us goodbye leaving me with Y/n, I then hugged her from behind and rubbed my face on her shoulder

"Mystique what's wro- Ow!"

She winced in pain when I playfully bit her shoulder

"What's your problem?"

She asked and I began kissing her nape and shoulder

"Mystie! I'm sore!"

She whined and turned to me, I puckered my lips at hers and she sighed then flicked my forehead

"Do you want a kiss? Keep on dreaming"

She laughed out loud and I just smiled as I stare at her
