Chapter 23: Meow

Akesha POV

I stood there all nervous while holding the bouquet of flowers that Mystique bought for me

I gulped hard and tapped my feet on the ground anxiously

"Akesha?"

Ì flinched when I heard her voice behind me, I then turned around and Hattie stood there with a beautiful dress

I blushed furiously and gave her the flowers

"I'm really sorry for my actions this past few days... if it's alright with you, will you let me court you?"

I asked and Hattie stared at me them accepted the flowers

"Okay"

She replied and a big smiled made it's way to my lips, I was about to say something but she gripped my collar

"If you do that again, I'll kill you"

She muttered mad and I just nodded my head nervously and she smiled then kissed my cheeks

"Let's go" She chirped and I raised a brow

"Where are we going?"

I asked confused

"I want you to see my cat"

I smiled excitedly and followed her to her dorm, when we got there I looked around with a smile

"Hattie? Where's the cat?"

I asked but I felt someone holding my waist

"Meow"

Fuck yeah!

Y/n POV

Today was Thanksgiving, it's been two weeks since my break up

Mystique is really romantic and nice when it comes to courting, she even bought different kind of wines for my parents

"I'm scared to meet your parents"

She mumbled when we parked in front our driveway, I kissed her cheeks and smiled widely

"It's fine Mystie, my parents are nice"

I smiled and we got out of the car, Mystique fixed her self and put perfume on her wrists then out it on her neck

She checked herself once again causing me to laugh

"Mystique, you'll be fine"

I chuckled and she kissed my cheeks and held the box of wine 

We entered my house and I raised my brow when they laughing in the living room, when I got there Astrid was there...

"Get out!"

I shouted mad and my parents turned to me, Astrid then smiled and approached

"Babe, I came here to say sorry. Let's start over again-"

I slapped her face and Mystique put the box down and pulled me away

"Astrid, I think you should get out of here before you get hurt"

Mystique muttered and my parents just stared at us, Astrid raised both her arms in defeat then smirked

"I'll come back Y/n"

She smiled, I held onto my parents vase and was was about to throw it to her direction

"Young lady! What is happening and who is this woman?"

Mon asked, Mystique immediately greeted her with a smile and gave her a bouquet

"Ma'am, I'm Mystique Montello... would you let me court your daughter? I really like her"

Mystique says and Dad narrowed her eyes at Mystique causing her to flinch

"I-I protected Y/n from her crazy ex-girlfriend because Astrid cheated, I'm a good person! I-I uhm..."

Mom laughed and patted Mystique's shoulder

"Dear, don't be nervous and please, call me Mom"
