Reyna P.O.V
I hit the stranger repeatedly in the head with the broom and he complained, it was dark and I couldn't see his face but I know he was wearing a hood that covered his hair "stop" he said holding the broom so I wouldn't hit him anymore "who are you and what are you doing here?" I said seriously, "I'm Wyatt don't you remember me?" he said and for a moment I thought until I remembered and looked him in the eyes "Wyatt?, I remember, you're the guy I bumped into the other day, what are you doing here?" I asked and he answered me this: "that's what I should ask you, what are you doing alone at night" "I wasn't sleepy so I came here" "I escaped from my sister, I saw you alone and I wanted to talk to you" he said and I laughed lightly "is this how you greet all the people? " he asked rubbing his head from the blows I gave him "no and I'm sorry, it's just that you scared me and I reacted like that" he just laughed lightly "I have an idea do you have to go back to your sister?" I asked and he denied "then I invite you to my little night picnic there are still some cookies left the jam is gone" "No need Reyna...." He said and I interrupted him "yes it is needed, besides what are you going to do alone in the city at this time of the night, you can stay with me for a while and then go with your sister" He nodded and We sat on the lawn we started talking and had some cookies.
"Is this your house? " he asked "no, it's my dad and brother's, I'm not from here" I replied "where are you from then, sure if you don't mind" "actually I don't mind, I am I was born in Seabrook, but I lived in New York since there was the accident at the Seabrook power plant, I lived there with my cousin Ashley until now I came to be with my family and my cousin came too but let's stop talking about me and talk about you" "you don't have much to know" he said "why did you and Willa Wynter leave so suddenly the other day when we crashed? " "something urgent came up" he said "why do I feel like I know you" I asked looking at him "we barely know each other" "you study at Seabrook High?" I asked and he denied telling me they were new and I casually commented to him that my cousin and I are new too... is it normal to feel such a connection with a person you just met, because that's what's happening to me with Wyatt.
We ate the cookies and kept talking, we laughed a lot about things that had happened to ourselves, his company was quite nice, and I thought I would ask him a question "Wyatt, can we be friends? " I said smiling he saw me and smiled "I would love to have a friend like you" when he said that I hugged him and whispered "you are the first male friend I have in this town, Wyatt" I said breaking the hug "maybe tomorrow we will see each other at the high school" he said "I think so" I said while looking at the sky that was full of stars "make a wish on a star" I said while laying down on the grass watching the stars "I always do" I completed the sentence watching him and he lay down on the grass next to me "do you get them? "I asked "92% of the time I get them" I replied going back to looking at the sky.
We made a wish and then talked for about five more minutes and we were still lying on the grass "that's why I ran away from my big sister, to have a moment of Peace" he said and I laughed lightly "I know how it feels I have an older brother and after not seeing him for so many years, now he became a little overprotective of me" I said smiling "he is right to take care of you, you are very pretty" he said taking a lock of my hair "thank you" I smiled I hugged him and he reciprocated, his hug was warm and I didn't want it to end, but we didn't separate without saying anything, we just looked at each other smiled and we sat on the grass, I laid my head on his shoulder and after a few minutes I think I fell asleep.
Wyatt P.O.V
Reyna fell asleep in my arms, it was very late, since I didn't know where her room was and I couldn't get into her house either, I carried her in my arms and took her to a bench, I laid her down there and tucked her in with the blanket she had on the lawn, I saw that there was a book that I assumed was hers so I placed it next to her as well as her cell phone, she looked so cute sleeping, I left a kiss on her forehead and I made a wish to a star as she told me and my wish was to see her again, I left something next to her and after that I went to the high school where the other wolves were.
When I arrived they were all asleep except Willa who asked me why I had left and where I told her I had gone to get some fresh air she calmed down and then we went to sleep.
