all she could do was stare at him and wonder if he really meant those words, she just couldn't stop getting butterflies remembering those moments. the thing that she didn't know was that he also felt the same all the time, he too felt hugging her and confessing the burden out all the time but shyness took over him every time he tried to. it was hard for both of them to keep ignoring each other like they were doing always. until one day, yeonjun proposed yeji, she thought it was his own feelings but she remembered about the bet, after a spending a well and good day with yeonjun, she went to talk to y/n about it.

Y/n ran to the gate after hearing the bell ring, jungkook was also at home as it was a weekend. 

"Helloo!, how come you're here at this time girl?" y/n asked before hugging yeji, it was 7 in the evening "can I not come to visit my baby girl? we barely even get to meet after your marriage," yeji said after y/n gestured her to come inside the house, she looked around and said "where is jungkook? I saw him at your wedding the last time. can I meet him?" yeji asked "sure," she said and took her to the living room where jungkook was sitting drinking his juice "jungkook!, my best friend has come to meet you," y/n said as jungkook turned around,

"hey, yeji," jungkook said, "h-hello jungkook" she shuttered after realizing how many tattoos he had and how huge he was in reality. "I'll prepare the dinner, you both can take your seat" they nodded and sat down after y/n went inside the kitchen 

"Is everything going good between you two?" yeji asked breaking the awkward silence, jungkook just nodded as an answer. nobody knows what came to her mind when she suddenly sat close to jungkook as his eyes went wide "you fell for her already, right?" she said smirking "w-what" he said, yeji realized how close they were so she quickly shifted aside "don't be shy with me, tell me already. you have fallen for her right?" he couldn't answer but yeji knew it the moment she saw him blushing and his red cheeks told everything. 

"omoo- so you have!!" 

she yelled as he started smiling as he just couldn't resist it, "he have what?" y/n said entering the room with the food in her hands "Y/N! HE-" jungkook cut her off by giving her a death glare and mouthing 'stfu'  

"What happened?" she said after sitting on the dining table between them both." nothing." jungkook straightforwardly said. they all started eating peacefully later,

"I want to talk to you about something, can you come here for a while, y/n?" yeji asked her as y/n nodded leaving jungkook in the living room alone. while he was tensing that she will tell y/n that he had fallen for her--

"so you've fallen for him," yeji said as y/n nodded "and you know, that's kind of embarrassing because he does not feel the same. and I haven't faced rejection my whole life." she paused and continued "boys die for a reply back and this guy doesn't even care about texting first? The way he always ignores me make me wanna punch his face down and tell him to fucking love me back"
