"Seems like there's a blockage going on.." with a tap she received on her shoulder, this gain her attention.. just half of her attention, actually.

And yes, a writer's block is the worst thing that a writer could ever experience when starting on a project, it just seems to flip the whole mood upside down, a total wreck.

With a deep sigh, she faced the woman sitting next to her, "Tell me that again." She puts her pen down and stared annoyingly(?) at the girl.

The look on her face couldn't be more transparent, the woman already know that the latter has been stressing out lately. "It has been a week, still struggling?" Dahyun asked as she subtly examined the girl's paper.

'It's blanked..' She thought as she averts her gaze back to the younger.

Slumping her back against the swivel chair, she grunts, frustrated by how many days have passed and she's still stuck at fucking step one, "I wouldn't be if it weren't for the stupid category they threw me into." She mumbles under her breath, at the same time cursing in her mind for not being able to get what she wanted.

And that clears something inside Dahyun's mind, how can she forget about her friend's worst nightmare.

"Right, you hate fantasies."

The girl sighs in grief, "If I only I applied a little tiny bit early, maybe I would've got action instead of this crap." She said as she crossed her arms.

"Fantasy writing isn't crap, it's magical." Dahyun corrects, a little offended by what the latter had said. She simply believes that there's no genre in this world that is worth to be called crap.

"Yeah, like those great beanstalk, and the kid who cast spells, and how could I forget about the legendary war between werewolves and vampires- My point is, it's too.. too much to believe at, it's so impossible to happen.. so fake." The girl says in one breathing, so much in one shot.

Dahyun tried stifling her laugh, but she didn't succeed too well. As for the girl is looking at her with pure judgment.

"That's why they are called Fantasies, Chaeyoung.. they only exist in the writer and reader's mind. Nothing is real, pure imagination."
But of course, as stubborn as Chaeyoung is.. she refuse to be allured.

'I won't fall for that.'

"Still, I hate it. Why just focus on something real?" She irritatingly said.
If only Dahyun could slap her, she would, definitely.

But oh boy, she knows it'll make no use at all.

"Like what? Love? What do you know about those cheesy romantic stories I've wrote? You said they're too unrealistic to even happen."

Chaeyoung picks the cap of her pen and snap it back, closed. "Who says I'm referring to love? I'm saying history, historical events are fun to write. And! You can learn a lot from it too." she said as she fiddled with the material for writing.

"Isn't it that the point of reading? To uh.. learn a thing or two?" Dahyun said with a matter of factly tone blended in within her voice.

Chaeyoung looks at her intently, "Yeah, but fantasies.. and romance? No, and if you combine them together like Twilight? Get away from me." She then shrugs after, with a plastered smirk on her lips.

"That novel and movie adaptation is a success! You are being so bitter with this. My suggestion.. just finish that quickly before the deadline, if you don't want Mister to be upset and your dad neglects you, okay?" Dahyun sarcastically said, while Chaeyoung just laughs from it.

"I'll see what my brain could squeeze, this is getting harder day by day."

She's smiling, but she's not even near being delighted by this task, it's a big deal for her but she just couldn't get her mind to focus on something that doesn't interest the author side of her brain.
