Nishikata and Takagi in a game of Life

Chapter 32: Name

The movie needs to have at least a little bit of drama in it.

Takagi and Nishikata made plans to have her move in with him the next few months. But before she moved in they had to figure some stuff out which is too boring to get into for a fanfiction.

Nishikata however started to think long term, though he was worried that it would be too early for his idea.

But he knew that before that he had to be able to say her name without honorific. It wasn't going to be easy, but he figured that if he was able to get her to be with him as his girlfriend, he could say Takagi without the San. He did a bit of practice to get ready.

"Takagi....San...dangit! Takagi....s....NO! " He slapped his forehead to stop himself from adding the San. ' Hm. Imagine how it would be if she stopped using kun for me' He thought of a new strategy. "T-takagi......I did it! Takagi! Takagi!" He repeated after he finally got her name down.

He ran to the door and put his shoes on before heading out and locking the door behind him. ' Now I just get her to stop using Kun. If I can do it for one day I will be able to do it from now on' Nishikata thought as he walked towards the arcade, which is where they decided to meet at.

He found her outside wearing blue jeans, a pink shirt, and some gray Nike sneakers to go along with it which made her really cute to Nishikata. He himself wore blue jeans as well, a black shirt, and some everyday blue shoes. Takagi perked up when she noticed him coming towards him.

"Hey Nishikata-kun" Takagi placed her hands behind her back as he approved.

"H-hey" He wasn't ready to try it just yet.

"Something wrong?" Takagi read him like a open book.

"N-no" He lied.

"Mhmm. Want to go in?" Takagi knew he was lying but she would let it go for the time being.

"Sure" They headed inside and Nishikata bought a game card with 3,404 yen ($30) on it. Takagi got the same as well.

" I wonder what we should play first" Takagi said looking around at all the games.

"How about we do that jump rope game?" Nishikata pointed at said game.

"Actually Nishikata-kun let's have a contest"Takagi suggested.

"Hehe. What is it? Whoever can jump the most?" Nishikata asked already getting ahead of himself once again.

"Nope. Whoever has the most tickets using only the amount of money on their card wins. You can play any and as many as you want as long as you have money on your card. Whoever wins gets to have the loser do one thing" Takagi explained the rules.

' Seems simple enough. And if I win I can make her stop using kun so it can be less pressure for me to drop the San!' Nishikata thought with a smile. "Alright deal!" Nishikata accepted the wager.

"Than let's begin." Takagi turned away and went to play some games.

Nishikata decided to skip the jump rope game as it didn't give many tickets, even if he did well in it. He found a basketball ball game so he played and earned 50 in one try.

' Not bad.  Only problem is every game is so expensive! I gotta find games that give out the most while also don't cost as much as set' He thought as he went from game to game, eventually you ending up with 1,545 tickets and  907.14 yen left ($8).

' Doing good so far... she's playing that basketball game' Nishikata saw her finishing up and she saw Nishikata.

"How many do you have so far?" Takagi asked coming up to him.
