Nishikata and Takagi in a game of Life

Chapter 10: The future

Do you guys read the manga or watch the anime? Or do you do both? I do both.

Nishikata sat beside Takagi in class trying to focus.

He was still embarrassed from his plan earlier.

'I can't even look at her right now'. Thought Nishikata.

"Alright class pair up. I'm going to hand out some sheets and you have to ask your partner questions on the sheet" Said the teacher.

He went around the classroom passing the sheets around.

Nishikata looked around to get a partner but everyone had quickly partnered up.

Except for Takagi.

Nishikata sighed to himself as Takagi and he turned their desks to face each other.

"Alright first question. " Said Takagi writing down the anwser.

"Huh? What was the question?" Asked Nishikata.

" What is your partners favorite color? Yours is light blue" Said Takagi.

I don't know if this is true or not.

" Oh. Um. What's yours?" Asked Nishikata.

"Also light blue" Said Takagi.

She went ahead and answered all but the last question. Nishikata started to feel worried

' Please tell me I know a lot about her!' Thought Nishikata.

He looked over the entire paper but could only anwser a few. He started to feel guilty.

' Great. Only thing I could anwser was her blood type and her favorite and non favorite foods/ drinks are' Thought Nishikata.

"Alright you can go ahead and ask me some questions" Said Takagi.

" A-alright" Said Nishikata.

He asked her the questions and wrote down the answers Takagi gave up until the last one.

"This was the only one I couldn't get, what do you want to be doing in the future? " Asked Takagi to Nishikata.

" I want to have an amazing job and go to all kinds of places and buy all kinds of manga! " Said Nishikata sounding like a kid.

" You sound like a kid" Said Takagi.

" Oh. S-sorry" Said Nishikata blushing while Takagi chuckled to herself.

"It's quite alright" Said Takagi.

"S-so what about you Takagi-san? What do you want to be doing in the future? " Asked Nishikata.

Takagi opened her mouth to speak but she was cut off from the teacher.

"The bell is about to ring. Please go ahead and turn in your sheets" Said the teacher.

" We almost finished" Said Nishikata.

"Hang on" Said Takagi.

She quickly took Nishikata's paper and wrote down what she wants to do in the future. She then took her own paper and handed it to the teacher without letting Nishikata see what he wrote down.

* Bell rings*

"Alright class dismissed!" Said the teacher with all the kids leaving the room.

" Alright let's go to your track" Said Takagi leaving the room with Nishikata.

" Wait! What did you write down as your anwser?" Asked Nishikata being curious.

" That's a secret" Said Takagi.

"What!? But I want to know Takagi-san!" Said Nishikata.

"If you can do your track without collapsing I will let you know" Said Takagi.

" You are on! " Said Nishikata with a clenched fist.

He collapsed after the first few laps.

*Meanwhile.

As the teacher read the last question of Takagis paper, he was surprised by the anwser.

"To be able to tease Nishikata long after school"

The manga only got one updated chapter this month. I don't know why though.
