Marcy had just finished placing the press ons on each of your fingernails. "Now Y/n, you have to be careful, or these mother****ers will pop off". "Ok Marc I'll be careful at work today with these then". You and Marcy shared a short kiss before you headed off to work.

You were trying to open the soda can you brought with you for your lunch break. "Almost-". your thumbs press on nail came off. "F**k!!!". You quickly covered your mouth and hoped no one heard your outburst. Luckily, no one reacted around you at all.
Letting out a sigh of relief, you silently returned to your job.
-Time skip to end of work day-
You gathered up your stuff and left work to go home. You got into your car and proceeded to drive.
When you finally made it home, you unlocked the door and went to the bedroom you and Marcy shared.
"Marcy, my nail popped off at work!!!"
"I told you to be careful with your nails Y/n".
"I know Marc, but I was trying to open a can of soda and the nail popped right off!!"
Marcy let out a little giggle. "Maybe we should try glue next time".
