Rachel watched Marley and Skylar talk non stop and watched Skylar make Marley laugh. Rachel still couldn't believe that she had a sister or even that her dads kept it a secret from her, which was wrong too.
Sebastian was worried for Rachel and Marley both, he knew the situation, and worried about Marley's schooling and everything and worried how Rachel was especially since because of all the bullying she had endured, everything Finn did to her with idealising her to be the perfect girlfriend, and the pressure from her dads and even Schue with having to be the best and perfect all the time she had developed anxiety, depression, and even anorexia, and it was Sebastian that saved and helped Rachel and it was Sebastian's and Puck's mums that had saved her too, and thanks to Sebastian Rachel doesn't audition for high demand roles. Sebastian didn't want what's happening to trigger anything in her.
Later that night as Marley slept, Sebastian hugged Rachel tight and asked
"You doing okay Pretty Girl? I know all this is sudden and has turned your life around, I want to make sure that you're okay and that what's happening isn't triggering you at all." Rachel sighed contently in Sebastian's safe arms and said
"I'm okay Sebby. I'm just worried for Marley. If I wasn't okay I'd tell you. I promise." Sebastian kissed her forehead to let her know that it will be okay.
"I know, I'm always here for you Streisand. And we can worry about Marley together. She already seems at ease with Skylar, and if she wants to go to the same school as him, you know Skylar and my twin Barry and Barry's wife Iris will look out for her." Rachel hugged Sebastian tight.
"I know. But I think I should talk to my dads, maybe we could have Skylar show Marley around New York." Sebastian kissed Rachel's hair
"I like that idea and I know your dads don't like me but I know you wouldn't be able to talk to them alone without feeling anxious." Rachel sighed
"I know and I'm grateful for you." Sebastian then lead Rachel to their room.
The following day after Skylar took Marley out to show her around, Rachel set up her computer on the kitchen table to Skype her dads.
Rachel was nervous, and felt very on edge and anxious to speak with them, and she didn't want Marley to see it. Rachel took a deep breath when her dads answered
"I'm okay and yes I'm still with Sebastian." Hiram and Leroy weren't happy at the prospect that she was still with Sebastian but for the sake of Rachel they learnt to accept the relationship. Hiram pursed his lips and said
"How is Marley?" Rachel wasn't sure how to answer it and Leroy then quickly said
"Millie isn't here." Rachel nodded her head and said
"She's okay. She's out sight seeing New York right now with Skylar. Sebby's and Barry's little brother." Hiram was just grateful that Marley was okay and said
"Leroy and I are glad that she and you both are okay. We are sorry we kept it from you. We had every reason to do so, but right now we're just grateful that you and Marley both met and know about each other and that you're safe and okay." Leroy looked at Hiram who nodded and then looked at Rachel through the screen and said
"Hitam and I will pay for Marley's schooling in New York so the burden isn't on you and Sebastian. Just let us know what school and we will pay for it." Rachel was glad that she didn't have the burden of it but she wouldn't have minded at all because after all Marley is her sister, her own family. Rachel gave a small smile and said
"Thank you and I'll let you know." Rachel then quickly hung up and closed her laptop as Sebastian softly spoke from across the table
"At least that went better than expected Rach." Sebastian took Rachel's hands in his and said
"And we can let Marley decide on what school she wants to go to." Rachel nodded her head and squeezed Sebastian's hands.
Skylar was showing Marley around New York and they stopped at the Central Perk Cafe to have hot chocolate.
"How are you doing, you liking New York sp far?" Marley nodded her head and said
"I am, I'm happy to be away from Ohio right now." Skylar knowing of the situation because Marley had told him, and said
"Because of your mum?" Marley shook her head and said
"Yes but no. I was having a really hard time at Mckinley and getting bullied especially by this one girl." Marley felt a little silly telling Skylar about Kitty, and was happy that he didn't press any further
"Well you're here now, and here in New York and new start and new and more possibilities and opportunities, and new school which I will personally show you around and introduce to my friends, that is if you choose my school, and I will make sure that you won't get bullied at all." Marley felt at ease with Skylar. Something she didn't feel when she was with Jake or even Ryder. With Jake, he had high expectations of her and Ryder just put her on a pedestal but with Skylar, Marley felt relaxed and at ease and could be herself. And she knew she had to tell Skylar about her bulimia. Marley gave a deep breath and said
"I really appreciate that Skylar. I really do. It will keep me at ease, especially with my eating disorder of bulimia." Skylar was shocked to know, and was concerned. Skylar stood up, and stood Marley up and said
"It will be okay. If you let me I'll help you." Marley hugged Skylar back, she didn't know why but she trusted Skylar a lot, and he offered to help her which is something that both Jake and Ryder didn't do for her. Marley gave a small sigh and softly and shyly said
"Okay, I'll let you help me."
