Folding the laundry in the bedroom, I watch as he puts on a shirt and walks over to me

"I don't know why you were worried" He says as i roll my eyes and lift his shirt to see the mark again

"Because you got injured and I wasn't there to set fire to the person responsible" I say as I take my hand away

"See, you can't even see a difference" He says as I sigh "I know how much you want to get back on the field, y/n, I really do, but what about our little family?"

I open my mouth to say something when he cuts me off

"You have been the best Mum our two could ask for. I know that you were scared when you found out you were pregnant and so was I, but we're doing OK, right?" He asks as I smile and I hug him, my bump in between us both

"Yeah, I think we're doing just fine" I say as i sigh, really missing being out on the field

I trace my finger over his side again

"And I can feel a difference"

Later that night, I watch as Fury walks back and forth on our floor.

Yes, Fury is in my house... Why and how... I'm not sure

"We need to stop Ultron, because whether or not he will admit it his mission is global distruction and the only thing stopping him is us" He says as he jumps right into it.

"Wait, wtf, hold on" I say

"Steve doesn't like that type of language" Nat says and I smirk briefly as I continue

"What's going on and when did all this happen?" i ask, but I don't wait for a response as I turn to Clint "This is what happens when Im gone, I've told you, I feel helpless sat here, I can't stay off the field" I say as I walk past him and out the room

Sitting on the side of our bed, I watch as he walks into the room after me.

"y/n"

"No. I know that I must sound selfish because now I'm looking after our kids, but I want to be out there too Clint!" I say as I feel myself growing frustrated

"I know, I do know." He says as i sigh and he hugs me to his side "But we've had kids now, two beautiful human beings that we need to look after and I can't let you fight while your 8 months pregnant" He tells me as I nod

"I know, I just miss it" I say as I hug him closer

After a minute I speak

"You have to leave, don't you? Fury came here to collect you, didn't he?" I ask as he nods against my head and I feel it.

I sigh, knowing he has to leave me, but also knowing that it's for the good of the world and not everything is about me.

"Just don't die before our baby is born, OK?" I say and I hear him chuckle as I pull my face up to see his smiling one

"I'll try not to" He says as he leans down and connects our lips.
