preference 4-what song reminds you of them

(a/n: stuck on ideas for imagines atm, so have another preference)

gi hun: apocalypse-cigarettes after sex

you and gi hun had been friends for as long as you could remember. so when you heard the line "sharing all your secrets with each other since you were kids" really resonated with you. once you told gi hun, he always made sure to play the song at least once everytime you were together.

sangwoo: 505-arctic monkeys

as soon as you heard this song on the radio, flooding memories of sangwoo came in. his hot breath after he smoked. arguments. crying. longing for hugs, then eventually his death, because you truly had to "greet him with goodbye".

sae byeok: recess-melanie martinez

as you listened through melanie's discography, recess came on. it reminded you so much of what sae byeok would remind you of during the games. you missed her wise words telling you: "don't let them fuck you honey", since you had been massively screwed over by everyone in your life, except her.

ali abdul: sunflower-rex orange county

ali had introduced you to this song a few times after you met, since it was on his playlist. "hey y/n this song reminds me of you" he said with a happy grin. you told him the same back, because you were "waiting for a minute till the suns seen through my eyes", and in your eyes, ali was your sun.

jun ho: once upon a dream-lana del ray's cover

once you had seen the movie maleficent, this song was stuck in your mind, and so was jun ho. you guys had an instant connection which put you at ease. almost like you knew each other "once upon a dream".

salesman: die for you-the weeknd

this song played whilst you guys were having sex after not seeing him for over a month. it happened every now and then due to his work, which you knew about, but being with him was all that mattered. the lyric: "the distance and the time between us it'll never change my mind cause baby i'd die for you" was always whispered in your ear whenever the song played, because he meant it.

ji yeong: sofia-clairo

sadly, people had given both of you a lot of shit for being together. the concept of two women being in love didn't resonate with some people. you'd sing this song to ji yeong to reassure her the relationship was fine: "i think we could do it if we try, if only to say, you're mine".
