Later I was getting ready for bed, I hadn't talked to Rudy since the conversation with his mom.
"I'm sorry Morgan." He stood in the doorway. "I feel humiliated Rudy." I looked at him. "So did I. I told her out of anger and shame, okay!" "I thought we were over all the lying." I shook my head. "Are we gonna be okay Morgan?" "You convince your family that i'm not a lying cheat. Then we can be okay." I barged through the door and plopped onto the bed.
"I'm sorry." he lied next to me. "Mhm." I rolled over finally letting a tear slip my eye. "I love you." He said hopeful. "I love you." I mumbled as I drifted off into a deep slumber.
