Second Person POV

"Sorry to interrupt Lady L/n."Rin entered
the office as you and Koyo were finishing
up your little tea time. As your assistant bowed
her head lower wavering your hand at her.
"Looks like I'll take my leave then have good
success with that Mimic organisation. Oh and
feel free to bring anyone to torture."Koyo
walked out with her usual elegance.
"Rin you look like you found something what
is it." Asking her attaching your katana to
the chain hanging on your waist.
"We've found there hideout."

*****

Rin walking by your side as she held your black
trench coat as you couldn't bother with it.
Stopping at the entrance of the stairs that
lead down to the torture chambers
"Rin you know we've been working together
for over three years you can tell me what else
is going on." Looking her dead in the eyes as
they had widen in shock and surprise.
"What do you mean Lady L/n?"She acted dumbfounded like you totally didn't know it.

"The Graugeist gun you keep in your
suit jacket." "How did you know-" "You made
it obvious."Gritting your teeth feeling your
trust starting to go down the drain as you
kept silent for a moment. Would you really
want to kill a traitor to the organisation when
she was so close to you that you can call
her a friend, sickening to the core.
"Will you kill me like you've done to the others.
The way you brutally kicked them into the
curve sends chills into me." She broke the silence.

Why did you want to cry at that moment
the way you felt more betrayed. But
you couldn't have the guys to kill her along
with Ango. "No." Sighing it was against
Mafia rules but it's something you couldn't do
to someone that you consider a friend.
"You're too young, not even an adult. For now
I'll pretend I didn't know and let you go
after this."Walking down the stairs not
wanting to look back at her.

"Y/n!" She called out to you making
your body stop for a moment, she called
you by your name for the first time.
"I loved being friends and your assistant I
never regretted a thing. Whenever we went
out to drink occasionally with just the two of us
I loved those moments and I'll cherish them."
She spoke as you felt the wait of your coat
now resting on your shoulders again.
"Please don't cry."

*****

"Oh Y/n your finally here we found a lead to
their base it's a dried leaf." Dazai spoke looking
at your more shaken form the emotions in
your eyes glistening more than ever.
"Are you good?"He asked making sure no one
was listening on the conversation. Yet your
eyes shift after you hear the question. You couldn't
be emotionally vulnerable even in front of him.
"Yeah." Answering quietly why did that
confrontation take such a toll on you letting
Rin go just like that you felt guilt for her.

"We'll I'm going to go and call Odasaku now."
He walked off, wanting to reach out to grab
his hand but how would you tell him what just happened before entering the chamber. Rin
was probably one of the most understanding
people you have met from the first time
you two met she always put up with
your cold demeanour. "Y/n I know what
happened and you did the right thing but
for now. I need to go do something so you'll
be giving out orders for my men they
already know." He walked off his heart telling
him to stay and not leave you there to
command but his brain told him overwise.

*****

It had been a while since Dazai left to only
come back with Odasaku passed out. Sitting there with him as you awaited for Oda to wake up. Eventually he did watching the auburn haired
man slowly open his eyes up "Are you awake, Odasaku? How do you feel?" Dazai asked as he
had sat himself up. He had been out for hours
after going to find where Ango was. It had
surprised you that he managed to end up
resting on a bed and somewhat injured.
"I feel like I'm experiencing all the hangovers
I'll have in the next fifty years all at the
same time. I saw Ango at the place you told
me about."Oda answered

"So Ango was there, like I suspected."Dazai
muttered to himself crossing his arms one over
the other, he was more serious. "He vanished
into the dark with soldiers in black."Oda
explained to you two. "Sounds like black
special ops. It seems recent events can be
divided into two categories."Concluding that
he wasn't with Mimic but instead with the
government. Though Mori wouldn't simply let
some from the government in unless they were
both gaining something out of it to begin with.
"Are they a separate organisation from Mimic?"
He asked as Dazai decided to take over again.
Well better yet interrupt your thoughts.

"They're different. But we can pretty much
ignore the special black ops guys for now. Mimic
is the more dangerous enemy, Akutagawa-kun
and the others are dealing with conflict in the
city which is lead by him and Rin. We still don't
know what the enemy leader's ability is. We're
at a disadvantage." Dazai stated pinching the
bridge of his nose thinking quietly to himself.
"You should've let me go..." You uttered, all three
of you knew you could've done it by yourself.
But it was probably Dazai's way of making all
the subordinates pay for the mishap.

"That Akutagawa is one of your subordinates,
isn't he? I heard his ability has high offensive
capabilities."Odasaku brought up.
"He's a nasword without a scabbard. I'm sure
he'll become the strongest gifted mafia
member in the near future but, right now,
he needs someone to teach him how to sheathe
his blade. Sorry, that was a tangent." Dazai
had brushed it off. Not wanting to think of the kid
anymore and how much trouble he caused him.
"This morning, the council of five top executives convened. They made a decision to attack Mimic
with everything we could muster. Just now,
both Y/n and my subordinates, including
Akutagawa-kun and Y/n's assistant Rin were hit
by a surprise attack. They're still fighting at
the art museum. Odasaku?"Watching the man
readying himself onto the bed's edge as he was
gearing himself up. Anticipating to join the
mission despite his condition.

"You're not serious about going, are you?"
Asking the man himself as he finished doing
up his straps. "We're hitting them with
everything we've got right?"Oda looked over.
His eyes were filled with such determination, it
felt different from the other times. A feeling
that wanted you to tell him to not join.
"I didn't think you'd be interested in conflict,
since you don't kill people." Dazai's eyebrows
quirk up in interest and if you were to look
closely into his eyes too. You would see the
hint of hesitation.
