All day you was trying to focus on your uni work but one particular person wouldn't leave your brain.

Your boyfriend Jack.

You were 5 years younger then Jack which at first was a concern as you are still at university and living in your own small apartment in Birmingham and Jack has just moved to play for Man City.

You missed him constantly, he never left your mind and the distance only made it harder to focus on anything else.

International break was currently going on in the football world but your boyfriend had been sent back to Manchester because of an injury, you was hoping this would give you a chance to go and see him but only if you could get this work done!!

*time skip a few hours*

You sat looking at your phone through Pictures of you and Jack smiling thinking about the memories.

"Oh fuck this" you jumped out of your chair heading to your room packing a small bag of things for the next couple of days.

You grabbed your phone ringing jacks number

"Heyyy there she is" he said down the phone

"Hey baby you okay" you replied with a grin

"Yeah miss you tho" he said

"Well about that, I mean only if it's okay with you I was gonna drive over" you said a bit hesitantly

"What!! Really!! Yes please please do" he replied you could sense the smile just through his voice

You giggled at him "ok baby I'll let you know when I'm on the way, love you"

"Love you drive safe"

You left your apartment locking the door behind you. You get into your car and shuffle your Spotify playlist ready for the drive ahead

About an hour in love on the brain started playing, you sang along at the top of your lungs as it's one of your absolute favourite songs.

"And id run for miles just to get a taste" you sang

Time goes quite fast and before you know it you are there, you text Jack and hop out of the car to go to his door. It swings up revealing a very smiley Jack who immediately engulfs you in a bear hug.

"Be careful you, your injured remember" you say with a giggle hugging him back.

"Oh god I missed ya" he said pulling away but keeping his arms around your waste, you play with his hair a bit as it was already hanging loose and messy

"Missed you more, been thinking about you all day" you smile up and him as you both lean in for a much awaited kiss. After a few more minutes you make your way into his new Manchester penthouse

"It's lush in here" you say looking up at down the whole place

"I know right it's banging" he says watching you

The rest of the day and evening is spent cuddling, chatting and catching up on lost time.

"How long you staying for" he asked

"Well I've got stuff for a couple days so I'll see" you smiled looking up at him. You were both currently on the sofa, you was laying on his chest.

"Why can't you stay here forever" he mumbled

"Jack" you laughed "we talked about this"

And that conversation ended there

The next few days passed by ridiculously fast, it was the night before you were supposed to be leaving and it was clear Jack wasn't in the best mood

"What up with you grumps" you walk up to hug him from behind whilst he's standing in the kitchen on his phone. He puts it down and turns so he's facing you. He wraps his arms round your waist and puts his head in the crook of your neck.

"What's up baby" you say in concern and rub the back of his neck to try and comfort him

"Just don't want you to go that's all" he mumbles into your neck

This made your heart break because you didn't want to leave either, and to be honest you wish you didn't have to but these assignments aren't gonna finish themselves. You know you could probably finish your few months of uni virtually but the only thing stopping you was incase you were ever asked to go into campus.

"I know baby" you replied

"Can I just asked" he said moving back to look at you "is there not anything at all I can do to persuade you to move here and be with me"

"Jack it wouldn't take any persuasion to come and be with you but you know I can right now what if I need to go into uni or something, it might not always be online lectures or classes" you replied "I want to be here, so bad. Just can't get enough of you clearly" you winked and laughed. He smiled back

"Could I not even persuade you by saying i can drive you if you have to go in and if im at a game I'll get a driver to take you" he said looking deep into your eyes

You thought about it, god what this boy does to you is unreal

You leaned in to give him a kiss, he kissed back before you pulled away and looked at him for a bit longer.

The thought of him coming home to you everyday, waking up to him every morning. Did make your heart swell.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't keep bothering you I know you can't" he gave a small smile

"Okay" you said

"What" he said in confusion as to why you said okay

You looked up and smiled at him

"I'll come here. Permanently" you said

He's jaw nearly hit the floor

"Stop messing with me" he said

"Baby I'm not I promise I'll come" you laughed at he picked you up spinning you round

"I can't believe it" he said "you can have one of the spare rooms as your uni room and decorate it how you want we can go shopping and wow I just... I can't find the words really"

"Your really willing to do this? For me? Now? With all your uni stuff and I just.. I don't know why your doing it, it's so much to ask from you and" he kept going but you interrupted him

"Must be love on the brain" you smiled and pulled him in for a kiss.
