[Kinuka's POV]

"What type of fairy are you?" Asked Vincent in a soft tone
"I'm a 4th pillar, summer earth fairy" I spoke playing with an old blanket
"Can you explain what that is?" He asked while staring down at me

"There are 5 types of fairies, also known as pillars. A pillar 1 can control plants, Pillar 2's can control plants ad items made from them, pillar 3's have the powers of a pillar 2 along with 2 sets of wings. A 4th pillar like me has the power of a 3rd, but we can shift into certain animals.  Now a pillar 5 ,which is usually of royalty, has the power of every other pillar, but they can also use magic" I answered finally looking him in the eye

"Now what about you being a summer earth fairy?" He spoke with furrowed eyebrows

"Every fairy is given a season based on the color of our wings. My wings are a mix of light pink and green, meaning summer. White and light blue are winter, orange and brown are fall, hot pink and yellow are spring"

After I spoke he nodded his head and started to play one of the curls that had fallen from my hair bonnet. After a moment of silence, Vincent finally spoke up in a saddened tone

"Why were you so scared to tell me?"

ears started to well up as i started my explanation

"Growing up, I was always told that I would never get a mate and that if I did, they would hate me for being a fairy. They told me that I was and would always be weak and worth nothing."

"Well those dumbasses LIED! You are MY mate and I love you just the way you are, even before I found out you were a fairy. You could be a werecat or a siren for all i care and I would still love you!" He spoke holding my face reassuringly

"You promise?" I spoke in a croaky voice
"On my title as Alpha" he spoke putting our foreheads together

After our conversation Vincent went to talk with Tobias about ' Alpha Business ' whatever that meant. While he did that I went onto my computer to check my work schedule. If you're wondering what my job is, i'm a Veterinarian and an Interpreter for ASL (American Sign Language). I may only be 20, but I graduated High School at 14. Once I came to Tobi's pack he helped put me through college and because of my intellectual gifts I only did 4 instead of 8 years of vet school while also doing 4 years for interpreter schooling.

My bosses are both apart of the magical community so that makes scheduling easier. My bosses are also mates so that makes work more fun.  They are both very welcoming and sweet, once they found out how young I was they told me that I needed to experience life. So now I only wok on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Just as Vincent came back in I finished up a document on my last patient.

"Coniglia, are you busy?"
"Nope, I just finished checking my schedule" I spoke turning to look at him
"I do have a question, Where do you work?" He spoke with a raised eyebrow
"I work at Heavenly Claws & Paws Veterinary hospital" I spoke in an excited tone
"You're in veterinary school?" He sounded a little confused
"No, Gods no college was hard and i don't feel like going through that again, I graduated last year" I spoke with a slight giggle
"You graduated? when you were only 19?" He sounded so surprised I almost laughed "My little mate is so smart" to which I blushed

Thank the gods that I was born with darker skin

"It isn't that big of a deal plenty of people graduate early" I shyly mumbled
"And humble too? The moon godess has given me a true gift" He smirked
I was too shy to speak so I just looked away from him. He chuckled and then he started to speak again

"So little mate, we need to speak about something" he spoke giving me his undivided attention
