Childhood best friends, Russia and Germany

this is a bit different from your request, but not too different.
This is just a request, otherwise in my main AU, Germany is Aromantic and Asexual. And a thing I kept same in this request and my AU is that Weimar is Germany's father, not N@zi. It's more historically accurate to me.
Two boys running along the meadows. Enjoying both their childhood innocence and time they have together.
They knew their parents would hate them being seem together, so every morning they'd jump through their windows to go see each other.
It was a comfort to each other, when they were near.

The day before Germany left, he had to see Russia one last time. Just one last time. He stole a framed picture of himself from his father's bedside table.
He jumped out the window and ran to the meadow.
❝Твоя покойная Германия, и что ты держишь?❞
Russia asked.
Germany handed the photo to him.
❝Es tut mir leid, dass ich es Ihnen nicht vorher gesagt habe, aber ich ziehe heute aufs Land. Also dachte ich, ich lasse dir das hier, du kannst es festhalten, wenn du mich vermisst.❞
Russia's eyes widens as he grabbed the framed photo.
As Weimar yelled for Germany, Russia gave him a final kiss on the cheek before leaving.
As Germany left, small tears formed in Russia's eye and he held the photo close to his chest.
