CHAPTER THREE ━━ CUPCAKE MISHAPS AND NOSTALGIA
"DUDE! Who do you think you are? Freaking Batman!?" Nora exclaimed looking at the boy in front of her, dumbfounded.
"Now that's interesting! Imagine Shaun in a spandex bodysuit and black undies- livin' the dream" Katy chimed in a with mischievous smile plastered across her face, this was going to be one hell of a 'Shaun Roasting Session' as she and Nora had so proudly coined the term despite the numerous disagreements from Shaun's side.
"No! No! C'mon guys let us all calm down here" This was clearly a misunderstanding. Shaun got up and brushed off dust from his jeans, his hands held up in mock surrender.
"Yeah right! Gear up Katy we may be hiding a body tomorrow" Nora huffed as she helped her friends collect whatever was left of the now crushed cupcakes.
"Are we done here? So much for the bake sale" Shaun sighed knowing they were clearly getting fired. It was becoming a tradition now, the trio went through jobs the same way Katy's brother. Ruiwen, could go through her grandma's famous Gong Bao Ji Ding on a Friday- meaning fast, abnormally. Keeping a job for a whole month was still on their bucket lists.
