- Chapter 7 -

Narrator's P.O.V
After talking with the officer, the couple found out that Austin would be put back into the foster care system and after talking to his boss, Jungkook took the rest of the day off and he and Yn started driving back home.

The two said nothing on their way back but the second Yn parked their car on the driveway, Jungkook quietly said;

"Y-Yn... I.. I don't want to go out tonight.."

Then he closed his eyes.

And after not getting a response back right away like he expected... he slowly opened his eyes again and turned to see Yn giving him a sad but understanding smile as she said;

"After the crazy day you had today.. I think it would be nice to relax at home."

At her words, Jungkook let out a sigh of relief as he quickly brought Yn into a tight hug and she started giggling when he started to plant light kisses all over her face.. and after a kissing her on the lips, Yn blushed as she gently grabbed Jungkook's face in her hands and softly said;

"I'm proud of you baby."

"Hm? Why?"

Jungkook asked quietly as he stared at Yn's adorable face turning red by the minute.

He had always loved seeing her smile and when he made her blush, gosh she would look so cute! And the way her eyes lit up when she was excited, it made him go crazy... and now that he thinks about it..  he's really happy that she's not too sad about missing their original date plans for their Anniversary because he already had a special "At-home" Anniversary backup plan ready.. just incase his two other plans fell through.. he just needed Yn to leave the house and then he could start putting up the decorations---

"Jungkookie?.. Baby did you hear me?"

Pulling him back from all of his surprise planning, Jungkook blinked a few times as he remembered that he was still in the car with Yn, so giving her an apologize smile, he said;

"No.. I'm sorry honey.. it's just that I-"

But before he could even finish, Yn quickly said;

"Oh that's okay.. I was just saying that I was proud because of the way you helped Austin.. and the way you handled his mother.. you were really brave today."

After she said that, she gave him a quick peck on the cheek which made him blush and nervously say;

"I-It was nothing.."

At this, Yn shook her head as she said;

"Nothing? Well I wouldn't say that-"

Suddenly Yn's phone buzzed and she sighed as she let go of Jungkook and grabbed her purse then after getting her phone and reading the message that her Boss sent, she let out a sigh of frustration, making Jungkook turn to her and worriedly ask;

"What's wrong Ynie?"

With a sad pout on her face, she mumbled;
