"I'm going to work" tommy whispered to seemingly no one

It was 9pm and he was heading off for work, his platonic husbands were asleep in the shared bedroom while Michael and shroud were asleep in their room

So who was he talking to if the whole house was asleep?

Himself

It made no sense but normally at least one person other then him was awake when he left for work, so more out of habit then anything

He locked the door behind him when he left and made his way to Captain's Cafe

Due to the new cafe across the street opening there was no customers

He was lucky puffy paid him the my hour not by money made on his shift

Puffy or Captain Puffy as she was know was the owner of the cafe tommy was working at

Lovely lady really

The cafe it's self was on the corner of a street in downtown l'manburg

The exterior of the building was purely bricks and had a black and white over hang thing

The front of the building was windows with a door in between

Infront of the windows was a small table with two chairs

Take note the windows don't have curtains

Untill now it was fine the dim lights of the cafe being the only real source of light during the night shift

But a previously mentioned the new cafe had opened across the street and they unlike the coffee shop he worked at had bright fucking florescent lights that light up practically the whole street

So not only were they stealing his customers but they were Gunna make him blind

Ignoring the lights nothing out of the ordinary happened until around 3:45am on his shift

A man walked through the door

He was a man indeed

The weird thing was the man just happened to be one of the too three wanted villains in the city

"Hello" tommy greeted him as if it was just a normal Tuesday "what would you like?"

"Uhhh" siren Started as he looked through the menu "a black coffee please"

"A coffee?" Tommy questioned

The man nodded

"A plain black coffee at almost four in the morning?" Tommy scoffed

"It's not for me, it's for my brother" he laughed

"Ok ok" tommy chuckled getting to work on making the coffee
