2 : Gummy Bears

Location : Somewhere In Hosu City

Time : 3 : 45 PM

Date : Thursday, September 25th.

Thursday was yet another wonderful day. The sun was shinning bright, and the trees were quietly losing their leaves. Just like the day prior, and the day before that. It was a nice, warm week. Just like Katsuki likes it. 

"Hey, dude! Have any idea if you're gonna buy something?" 

Bakugou looked up to the pink haired girl, who was skipping happily in front of him and his classmates. 

"I dunno. Depends on what they've got. How far is this place anyways, Shitty Hair?" The blonde teen asked, looking over to Eijirou. His friend gave him a smile, before pointing ahead. 

"Not far. We're almost there!" He spoke. After that, both Katsuki and his friends walked for several minutes... And they finally reached the new candy shop. Bakugou's friends ran into the shop, of course. However, Katsuki did not. He simply stared at the sign over the door.

Miss M. Who's that? 

The blonde shrugged and stepped closer to the door, swinging it open in a swift move. A sharp bell noise was heard, before the door closed behind him. Katsuki's eyes widened almost immediately. He looked around, staring at the multiple shelves of candy. Lollipops, Sour candies, Chocolate bars, Gummies, Sugar, Homemade Sweets, Cakes... You name it! They had everything. 

"Hey there! How may I help you?" 

Katsuki glanced over to the counter, where a young boy- About his age, was standing. He had curly green hair, which bounced at ever move he'd make. Freckles, that looked just like stars. Big, green eyes and an adorable smile. He was shorter than Katsuki, but still tall enough. He also had a slightly feminine body. A small waist, and he stood elegant. Bakugou was absolutely shocked by him. 

"Um..." The blonde spoke, a blush visible on his cheeks. Suddenly, a hand gripped onto the teen's shoulder. 

"Nah! Thanks though! We're just looking around!" Kirishima cheered, smiling at the curly haired boy. 

"Oh, okay! If you need anything, just ring the bell!" The smaller male said, before walking out and disappearing into a hall. Katsuki looked over to his red haired friend. Eijirou was smiling widely at him, and seemed to know something. 

"What?" Katsuki asked. The other male laughed a minute, before walking off into a candy aisle. 

"I saw the way you looked at him. You should ask him out! He sure is cute, ha!" The spiky haired male said, giving a toothy grin to his blonde friend. Katsuki blushed, looking around the store. He had never asked someone out before. 

"Nah." He shrugged. The tall blonde then walked away, into a different aisle. Bakugou looked around the shelves, seeing the variety of different candies. He hesitated on a few, but simply set on buying a bag of Gummy Bears. Once he had made his choice, he walked off to find the rest of his classmates. The friends grouped up in front of the counter, before ringing the bell. And, soon enough, the familiar green haired boy walked out again, beaming a beautiful smile. Katsuki felt his heart twist at the sight, but he shook the feeling off. 

"Have you found everything you were looking for?" The curly haired male asked, standing behind the counter. Denki Kaminari, one of Katsuki's friends, stepped up. He dropped a load of candy bags on the counter, and reached into his pocket to find his wallet. 

"Yep! I found a bunch of shit! This place is awesome!" The male cheered. Kaminari then pulled out a leather wallet, and gave the cashier a twenty dollar bill. The curly haired boy took it, smiling at his customers. He then gave Denki his change, and bid him farewell. Next up was Mina Ashido and Hanta Sero, who had decided to pay together, since they were a couple. When they were finished, it was Katsuki's turn. Kirishima hadn't bought anything, so he walked out the store with the rest of his friends. So now, Katsuki was alone with the adorable boy. 

"Uh, hi." He spoke, handing the Gummy Bear bag to the smaller male. 

"Hi!" The male cheered, taking it. Katsuki stared at the freckled boy's chest, locating a name tag.

🍭Miss Midoriya🍭

Katsuki's brows furrowed in confusion. 

"Uh... If you, uh. If you don't mind me asking... Why is your name Miss Midoriya?" The blonde asked, pointing at the boy's chest. The greenette looked down, before giggling. Once again, Bakugou felt his heart flutter. 

"Haha, oh no! This is my mom's apron. I borrowed it, that's all. She's the owner of this store. I'm her son, Izuku Midoriya! Sorry if I confused you." The male giggled. Katsuki sighed in relief, before smiling down at the adorable boy. 

"Ah, I see." He whispered. Just then, Izuku set the Gummy Bear bag back on the counter, and spoke again. 

"That'll be 1.15$." He snickered. Bakugou quickly shifted around, looking for some change, or a wallet. His heart ached a bit, suddenly realizing he had forgotten his wallet at home, and hadn't brought any money at all today. He shyly looked up to a smiling Midoriya, who seemed to be waiting.

"Uh.. Haha, I- I uh... Never mind. I- I forgot my wallet. I'll just, I'll leave that here." He awkwardly muttered. He looked up to Izuku, who seemed to be processing what he had just said. Is he mad? Maybe he'll laugh at him. Katsuki froze at a sudden realization. He's never cared about anything like this before... Yet... The thought of Izuku criticizing him sent shivers down his spine. 

Why was this stranger making him feel so weird?

"Oh! You forgot your wallet, huh? It's fine! I'll pay for it." Midoriya spoke, handing the blonde his bag. Katsuki stared at the bag, then back at the worker. 

"What? Why?" He asked, gently grabbing the gummies. Izuku gave him a sweet smile, and closed his eyes. 

"Don't worry about it! I'll pay for this time. But I need you to know- I'm not doing this next time." He giggled. Bakugou couldn't help but smile. 

"Thanks! Thanks so much Deku! I'll pay you back tomorrow!" He said, bowing down. 

"Deku?" The greenette cackled. Bakugou blushed, knowing damn well he had already forgotten the boy's name. 

"Y-Yeah... Deku. It's... AH! It's a nickname! It suits you. My name is Katsuki, by the way. I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Deku!" He called, walking out the shop. He sighed, seeing his classmates stare at him. 

"About time, slow-poke!" Mina whined. The blonde rolled his eyes. 

"Alright, let's go!" Kirishima cheered, before the friends started to walk away. Katsuki followed, but not without looking back at the Candy Shop a few times. He smiled at the thought of Midoriya, and the fact that he was going to see him again for the next few days. Maybe even forever! Who knows?
