A Dream

I open my eyes to witness a white sky. White and blank like paper.

I sit and stand up. Gazing at my surroundings. Nothing. Only white as far as the eye can see.

I continue to turn my head. The space seems to blank to the point I can barely even find a sense of direction, like a broken compass.

I eyes then find something to land on.

A man with a dark red dress theme. Rigby.

A woman with a fading color hair theme. Eleanor.

A well dressed man in a checkered-pattern tuxedo. Hardy Night.

A quartet of different species of birds. The O'Jays.

And another man. A man who became a friend out of his... weird personality. 

They stand and pose in the distance. I wave at them.

"Guys! Wait For Me!" I run towards them in desperation. But I barely seem to get any closer.

"Wait! Don't Leave Me!" I shout in desperation. Everyone except Hardy starts fading into nothing, assimilating with the white around them.

Hardy, the exception, instead has his skin cracked like broken pottery. His figure then shed the cracked pieces, like an animal shedding, but except there is nothing underneath. Hardy sheds into nothing, the fragments falling below the white floor, beyond what the eye can see.

"no..." I stop running, as I have nothing to run after or away from. I pant as I catch my breath. Tears falling, but they don't hit the floor, only to continue falling as if the floor didn't exist.

"Why..." My tears continue to fall into the white void.
