We pull out of the compound Apollo lives in and he suddenly accelerates quickly, making me hit my head on the headrest out of shock.

I scoff and turn to glare at him, only to see him smirking to himself, one hand on the wheel and the other holding the stick shift.

"Was that really necessary?" I ask, looking at him pointedly.

"Was what really necessary?" He replies, looking at me all innocently, but I can see the mischief behind his innocent facade.

I decide to be petty, crossing my arms over my chest, inadvertently making my boobs push up a litte. I pretend not to see his hands tighten on the wheel as he glances down at me.

I huff and move my legs so that they're pointing towards the door, rather than to him.

Classic move if you're pissed at someone in the car.

He sighs playfully, "Oh come onnnn." He drags out like an annoyed child, "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you?" He suggests, instantly piquing my interest.

I turn back to him, now staring intently at his side whilst conjuring up all the ideas I can make him do.

He's intently focused on the road, his face relaxed, but still pouting a little from the cold shoulder I gave him.

I took pity, but still got something out of the situation. "Fine, only if you answer all my questions." I suggest.

His eyebrows raised a fraction before he masked his surprise, putting on an easy grin. "Alright, shoot, as the Americans say." He replied, making me laugh at his foreignness, something I could relate to.

"How did you meet my brothers?" I ask simply, genuinely curious about their relationship.

He looks over at me weirdly, "You know I would've answered that without having to bet on it." He says disapprovingly.

I only shrug, "I know." I suddenly feel the overwhelming urge to find out everything about Apollo, wanting, no needing, to know all that I can about this boy.

Urgh, I sound like such a simp.

Not that I am one-

Or that I even like Apollo-

"Pfft," He blows out a breath, "Well you already know that Russia and Greece are allies, so I guess it was only natural at some point that the heirs of each mafia would meet." He begins. "We were at a conference, I was only 10 but I begged my dad to let me come. I've always looked up to him and at that point I wanted to learn the ropes of the business early. Of course, I didn't know the full extent of what we did exactly." He chuckles, making me smile.

"Anyways, I arrived at the conference with my dad, all suited up and ready to be just like him. It took not even 10 minutes into the conference before I was ripping my hair out of my head from boredom." I laugh at this with him, imagining a little Apollo in a suit, bored out of his mind surrounded by large mafia men.
