Liquid silver rushed off the palms of my hands as my dreams overtook me,
Drowning me in deep slumber
The vividness of it all rendered any reality checks useless
I gave up on any urges of resistance I had
And at last, I dove in
An unknown world was opened up to me
However, unfamiliarity never made me afraid
I allowed my imagination to take control
Letting go meant feeling free
But the sense of freedom wasn't long-lasting
When it all unexpectedly ended with the simple act of opening my eyes
And in doing so, I never said goodbye
Yet I would soon introduce myself to another world once more
