"Long time, no see" can be a bittersweet phrase
I want to say you've been on my mind
But I don't know what response to expect
The smiles you gave me back then
have lingered in my head for quite some time
Please show me that bright expression again
The one that made me think this was a budding friendship
As you come my way
Our eyes don't meet
Words aren't spoken
You only pass me by
I'm forced to say our connection was not remade
if there was any connection to begin with
I'd like to believe there was
Perhaps my belief is not truth
