Never have these neon lanterns been so dull
Their lights are fading, and so are mine
Tell me why my innocence was snatched away from my hands
These small hands that were never big enough to hold the Earth
But they try to grab whatever they can from the world
An impossible feat, a wish made in vain
I embrace a world that, in turn, has thrown me away
This light of mine flickers for a final moment...
And the last lantern is now dark.
