Easy On Me is a piano driven ballad that finds Adele talking about her divorce from Simon Konecki, her bad childhood and the lessons about family, love and abandonment that came from it.
She sings about the breaking point in her relationship with Simon in the first verse:

In the chorus, Adele is speaking to her son Angelo and asks for his forgiveness for leaving his father singing:

I absolutely love the emotion that Adele showcases in Easy On Me. The lyrics are so beautiful and also very relatable to anyone who has had their heart broken in the past.
