A/N: Hola, senoritas! How is everyone doing today? I am back with an all new song review, but this time I am doing one on Adele's hit song Easy On Me. You know the drill! It's time for me to share some fun facts about  singer Adele.

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on May 5, 1988

She entered the music scene in 2008 with her debut album 19

Adele's second studio album 21 spent 24 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the longest by a female solo artist

She also was the first female singer to have three top-ten singles on the Billboard 100 with Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain

She has two Diamond certified albums with 21 and 25

She won an Academy Award in 2013 for her song Skyfall from the James Bond movie of the same name

Her accolades include 15 Grammy Awards, 12 Brit Awards and 18 Billboard Music Awards

Now, we've got that covered, here are the full lyrics to Easy On Me:

[Verse 1]

There ain't no gold in this river
That I've been washin' my hands in forever
I know there is hope in these waters
But I can't bring myself to swim
When I am drowning in this silence
Baby, let me in

[Chorus]

Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
Didn't get the chance to
Feel the world around me
I had no time to choose
What I chose to do
So go easy on me

[Verse 2]

There ain't no room for things to change
When we are both so deeply stuck in our ways
You can't deny how hard I have tried
I changed who I was to put you both first
But now I give up

[Chorus]

Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
Didn't get the chance to
Feel the world around me
Had no time to choose
What I chose to do
So go easy on me

[Bridge]

I had good intentions
And the highest hopes
But I know right now
That probably doesn't even show

[Chorus + Outro]

Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
I didn't get the chance to
Feel the world around me
I had no time to choose
What I chose to do
So go easy on me

Easy On Me is a piano driven ballad that finds Adele talking about her divorce from Simon Konecki, her bad childhood and the lessons about family, love and abandonment that came from it.

She sings about the breaking point in her relationship with Simon in the first verse:

There ain't no gold in this river
That I've been washin' my hands in forever
I know there is hope in these waters
But I can't bring myself to swim
When I am drowning in this silence
Baby, let me in

In the chorus, Adele is speaking to her son Angelo and asks for his forgiveness for leaving his father singing:

Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
Didn't get the chance to
Feel the world around me
I had no time to choose
What I chose to do
So go easy on me

On the second verse, the singer recalls trying to change herself to make the marriage work for her husband and son with the lyrics:

There ain't no room for things to change
When we are both so deeply stuck in our ways
You can't deny how hard I have tried
I changed who I was to put you both first
But now I give up

Adele tells herself and her son that she had good intentions marrying her ex-husband in the bridge singing:

I had good intentions
And the highest hopes
But I know right now
That probably doesn't even show

I absolutely love the emotion that Adele showcases in Easy On Me. The lyrics are so beautiful and also very relatable to anyone who has had their heart broken in the past. This is one of my favorite songs by far from Adele. If you're a fan of Adele or not, then I definitely recommend that you give this song a listen.
