When the stars aligned a design of the light before us, I begged for that white dust ring around the bright moon, and I wanted to star gaze until the lights burned out and I was consumed with the thought of watching it with you.
But I couldn't help but feel connected to the sky, being a light in the dark. When everyone wanted sunlight, and I enjoyed my time alone with them, and they taught me how to shine even when no one was looking.
How to love being the beauty to the dark.
