42. THE TALE OF AN ANCIENT LOVE

5 2 2

Ours was a love so ancient
That its loyalty creaked like undisturbed doors.

A love so honest
That it broke every promise we ever made,
Yet it always asked for more.

A love so old
that its only intimacy was staring into souls,
with eyes so venomous that everytime we bored at each other,
We would burn the both of us whole.

A love so wrecked of time
That it sailed over an ocean for years,
It was only that the ocean was frozen
and it stayed at a place,
never once finding a shore.

Ours was a love so ancient
The only tale it ever told was of us.
Yet a lover of mine, a beloved of yours.
