~Thursday 5PM~

*knock, knock*

I had just fixed my hair when I heard the two knocks at the door. I rushed over and opened it to see Carmilla with a bottle of vodka.

"Hey, cupcake." Carmilla greeted with a smirk.

"Hi, come in, come in." I said waving her in. I shut and locked the door. "You can have a seat on the couch just make yourself at home." I said as I fetched my laptop and its charger from the desk in my room.

"So what do you have planned cupcake?" She asked as she kicked off her combat boots and sat criss crossed on the couch.

"I was thinking we order takeout and have a movie night via China Chef and Netflix." I said bringing blankets and pillows from the linen closet.

"Sounds wonderful, it's been a long, long day." Carmilla said scoffing.

"Why, what happened?" I asked as Carmilla handed me the bottle of vodka and I went into the kitchen and mixed some drinks and I tried to find something to mix it with but I don't know what to do.

"Here let me cutie, I'm the bar tender. But I don't know. Just someone came back into my life whom I kiked out a while ago." She said as she found some peaches and strawberries in my fridge and pulled out the blender and grabbed a glass of ice dumping it in the blender. "Here cut these up." She said giving me the fruit.

"Well, you can forget about that person tonight, it's gonna be you, me, some Chinese food, some alcohol and a movie marathon." I said offering her a smile, she then returned one to me as she poured vodka in the blender and I tossed in some of the chopped up fruit. Carmilla then puréed the blend and I grabbed two glasses and distributed the ice as she poured the concoction on top of the cubes.

"Try it." Carmilla said grinning after she garnished my glass with a peach slice and a whole strawberry. I then took the glass knocking it back, taking a sip. Just wow, it was one of the best drinks I've had in a while.

"Oh my god, this is so good."

"I am one of the best bartenders at the bar I work at." Carmilla said with a proud smile gloating.

"As much as k want to knock back ten of these im starving, what do you want from China Chef?"

"I'll take whatever you're getting." Carmilla said with a shrug. I nodded and took my phone out of my back pocket scrolling through my contacts until I found the restaurant.

After a few rings the phone picked up.

"China Chef, how can I help you?" A man asked on the other end.

"Hi, can I get two orders of the large honey chicken lo mein." I replied.

"Yes ma'am, what's your address?"

"1698 Alexander Street apartment 307."

"Great, your order will be there in about 15 minutes and that'll be $23.58."

"Thanks, bye." I said hanging up.

"So, have any movies in mind cupcake?" Carmilla asked sipping on her drink.

"I was thinking some horror movies, I'm in the mood for some slasher films." I honestly didn't really like horror movies but the idea of yelling at an actor to not run upstairs seems appealing tonight.

"Didn't take you for a horror movie fan."

"I like all kind of genres." I replied to Carmilla who was grinning as she leaned against the counter.
