Pregnant Butterfly

This oneshot was suggested by FebiBlackWolfy2009Ga who wanted to see how Giyu would treat a pregnant Shinobu. Hope you like it!

It was a lovely morning at the Butterfly Mansion. The sun was shining, butterflies were fluttering all around, and Shinobu Tomioka gently woke up, enveloped in her loving husband's arms.

She snuggled in closer to his chest, taking in his minty, ocean breeze scent and sighed. Nothing could disturb this moment.

Until it did.

Soon enough, Shinobu was throwing up into the toilet with Giyu holding her hair up.

"Ugghh, I hate morning sickness," she said once she was done.

"I know sweetheart," Giyu said while gently squeezing her hand, "Do you want me to make you some breakfast while you wash your face?"

A small smile appeared on her face, "Yes please," she answered, "You know I love it when you make breakfast."

A few minutes later, the two were eating their breakfast of pancakes, with Shinobu having a taller stack than Giyu.

"You've got a little syrup on your face dear," Giyu said.

Shinobu grabbed a napkin and wiped her face. "Did I get it?" she asked.

"Let me do it" Giyu then gave her a quick kiss and licked his lips. "There," he said, "All gone."

Shinobu's face started to turn pink, "You just wanted an excuse to kiss me, didn't you?"

"Mmmm maybe," he responded with a smile and rosy cheeks.

"Teasing airhead," she mumbled.

"Flustered lil' sugarplum," he retorted, smiling wider when seeing Shinobu's face start to resemble the shade of a ruby.

Without any good rebuttal due to her flusteredness, Shinobu just put another fork-full of pancakes in her mouth with Giyu gently reminding her not to choke.

Giyu was in the kitchen, packing a basket full of picnic supplies. When he was done, he went to the living room and found Shinobu sleeping on the couch. She was laying on her back, her hair was splayed out, giving it an appearance similar to an octopus, not to mention she was drooling a little.

'Beautiful' Giyu thought to himself blushing.

He put a blanket over her so that she wouldn't get cold and gave her a kiss on the forehead. He then grabbed a book from the nearby bookshelf, sat in a nearby chair and began to read.

      ~About one to two hours later~

The two went out to a forest for their picnic, but not before Shinobu scolded Giyu for letting her sleep in. They found a nice spot near a little pond and set up the blanket and food.

After eating their lunch, the two sat on the blanket watching the fish swim in the pond.

"We should take our baby here after they're born," Shinobu said, "It's so beautiful and peaceful, and I can just imagine walking with them as their cute little eyes shine with every new thing they encounter."

Giyu gently kissed her forehead, "Of course we'll take them here darling. All we have to do right now is wait for them to be born."

Shinobu took Giyu's hand in hers and placed a kiss on his knuckles with Giyu doing the same to hers.

Suddenly, a few droplets of water dropped onto Giyu's face. It then began to rain. Giyu immediately placed the blanket inside the basket, gave said basket to Shinobu, and held Shinobu bridal style while running away from the rain.
