Lana didn't get the chance to kill Liv. When she tried, both Elena and Damon ganged up on her, being all brave and heroic. Lana was about to show them exactly who they were messing with when Kai stepped in. He told Lana that even though Liv tried to kill him, he didn't want to see her dead. When Lana pushed him out of her way though, she was met with a pierce in her neck that brought on a numbing feeling. Suddenly she couldn't stand upright anymore. It felt as if fire was running through her veins and then finally, she was greeted by darkness.

Jeremy had drugged her with Vervain. She didn't remember what happened after, all she knew was that she woke up tied to a cheap bed post the next morning. Or night. Lana couldn't tell.

"What the-" She muttered as she came about, still woozy from the huge dose of Vervain Jeremy had given her. The room slowly blurred into focus, bright yellow walls with green curtains and a too-bright light was causing her head to ache. The bed Lana was on creaked as she tried wiggling herself loose, the cheap yellow duvet made her back and legs itch.

Lana knew only one person who would choose a stupid room like this one.

"Kai!" She shouted, her strength slowly coming back to her. She was furious. She was going to murder Kai Parker for tying her up.

"Oh, goody! You're finally awake!" A voice exclaimed from behind a closed yellow door that probably lead to an equally yellow bathroom. Lana was suddenly aware that the shower had been running, but at her call it was quickly turned off. Lana kicked at the ropes around her ankles and tried yanking her arms loose, but the Vervain had weakening effects on her.

"Untie me!" Lana yelled, but was greeted my silence. "Kai-"

"Hey, relax. I was just trying to cover up, jeez." Kai stepped out of the bathroom, shirtless.

"Oh..." Was all Lana could get out. Kai had a towel wrapped around his waist, a yellow one, Lana realized with a sigh. His chest wasn't even scarred because of the whole Liv thing the previous day; it was the same creamy color that it had always been, slightly tanned but not olive. Lana wondered whether boredom drove Kai to work out in his prison world, because his chest and shoulders were perfectly chiseled.

Lana shook her head; he's doing it on purpose, trying to get her to change back to her old self. Well, it wasn't going to work.

"Yeah, I figured I should wash all the blood off myself. I would've gotten us a better hotel room too, but everything's so expensive these days. And I felt too bad to kill the guy standing at the desk so I just took this sunny little place." Kai babbled on for a while, but Lana just glared at him. He reached inside a bag and pulled on a black shirt. He retreated to the bathroom briefly, putting on a pair of dark wash jeans. Lana noticed that he was bare foot; maybe she could stomp on his toes really hard and get away.

"Untie me. Now. Or I'll rip your throat out, with my teeth." Lana threatened, but Kai shrugged.

"I bet you'd enjoy that, wouldn't you, Evil Lana?"

"Shut up."

"Don't be so mean to me. Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting for you to wake up?" Kai sighed heavily and sat down on the big bed, next to Lana. But far enough away so she couldn't get to him.

"Why'd you kidnap me?" Lana decided to calm down a bit. Maybe if she was extra nice to him, Kai would cut her loose. Or maybe if she kept him talking for long enough, she'd have the chance to strengthen enough until she could break loose herself.

"Well, Damon and Elena wanted to lock you up in their dungeon- how cool is that, by the way- but I changed their minds my grabbing you and flashing us out of there." Kai smirked at the girl tied to the bed, wondering what she was thinking.

"My hero." Lana muttered irately, letting her head slump back in the rough pillows. After that, Kai decided that he was hungry. He checked the ropes securing Lana to the bed and exited the hotel room, looking for a good place to purchase food.

This gave Lana the chance to escape. She'd pretended to be too weakened to bother getting lose all the while Kai babbled on about how weird it was that Lana was a vampire now. When Kai finally left, a few good yanks broke the ropes and Lana thankfully hopped off the bed. She shot the scratchy duvet a death glare and pulled on her combat boots. After checking her hair and grabbing her leather jacket, Lana left the door open behind her.

She had business to take care of, after all.

Lana checked her reflection in the window; she was wearing black jeans with high heeled dark grey boots and a whine red spaghetti top with her leather jacket. She'd robbed an expensive looking store before coming to Georgia, needing to change her bloodstained clothes.

"Because last time I was here, you said you'd help me." Lana fought to keep her temper in check. The dark skinned witch was pretty; she had long curly dark hair and hazel eyes that seemed to glow eerily. The woman, Tamara, was around the age of 25, wearing jeans and a green tank.

"Last time you were here you were terrified; you looked like you just saw your entire family murdered. I felt sorry for you." Tamara tried shutting the door again.

"Because I did see my whole family murdered. But I'm over that now; see there's this other girl taking over my body all the time and it's really annoying. I need to kill her." Lana tried being nice one last time.

"I can't help you with that, I'm sorry." Tamara pushed the door halfway shut for the last time.

"Fine, but just remember, Tammy, I tried being nice about this." Lana smiled sweetly at the woman and then, without warning, kicked the door open. Tamara was sent crashing into the bookshelf behind her and Lana stepped inside the small apartment.

"Now, what were you saying about not wanting to help?" The vampire grabbed the witch roughly by the arm and glared at her, daring her to refuse one more time.

"Alright, this spell you're talking about, does it require me to trust you? Because I don't." Lana took a sip of her Chamomile tea.

"Yes it does. I'll have to put you into a comatose like state so that I can see both of the occupiers of this body. Then I cast a spell to banish the one you don't want here." Tamara was scowling fiercely at the blonde.

"Alright, fine. We can do it. But if you kill the wrong one, I'll-"

"Kill me? Oh, really now?" Tamara interrupted.

"Well, no. I'll let your dear sister, Tanya, die. You didn't think I'd come here without insurance, did you? Dear little Tanya is locked up somewhere you'd never find her, and if you don't get her out soon, well, I'm afraid she won't make it." Lana smiled.

"You're lying."

"Believe whatever floats your boat, Tams. But if little sis dies, it's on you."

"If my sister is harmed in any way I swear I'll kill you!" Tamara was panicking, Lana could tell. She shrugged casually and motioned for Tamara to get on with the spell.

"So, how are you still 25? I mean, I remember back when I just turned, you were 25 then. Why are you still the same age?" Lana wondered out loud and Tamara sighed.

"Becoming immortal isn't as difficult as the movies make you believe, you know." She glanced at the vampire girl.

"So if I were to drain you of your blood right now, you wouldn't die?"

"Oh, I would. The spell lets me remain the age that I choose, but if you were to kill me, I'd die." Lana shut up after that, after all, Tamara creeped her out.

After a while Tamara had written down all the ingredients needed to do the spell. Lana was feeling extra lazy, so she pushed Tamara out of the apartment and told her to find the ingredients.

"And remember Tams, you're expandable." Lana knew that Tamara wouldn't cross her or go looking for her sister. And if she did, Lana would just drain little Tanya of her blood and find another witch to do the spell. Lana couldn't quite place her finger on it, but it was as if she was drawn to this specific witch. Even though Lana knew plenty other witches who didn't mind getting their hands dirty, she wanted this one to do the spell.
