[Phonecall conversation]

"So you will not spend your Christmas Eve with me here in our place?"
Miyeon said sadness was obvious in her voice after hearing that her girlfriend can't come home because of work.

"I'm so sorry Love,"
Minnie said on the line

"It's Ok,"
Miyeon wanted to sulk, but she knows that Minnie is working for both of them but she already told her earlier before the month of December comes to file a leave.

"Love please don't get mad at me please"
Minnie said making Miyeon want to cuddle with her badly right now, she just hums as an answer

"Love..."

Miyeon heaved out a sigh,
"Love, Even I want it so badly to be with you and spend this Christmas Eve with you. I can't do anything either right?"

Miyeon paused, she don't want to be emotional on this Christmas eve and make Minnie have a guilty feeling.
"But, don't worry Love I understand so please focus on your work now see you tomorrow when you come home, I Love you," Miyeon said sincerely she doesn't want also to have argued or fought with Minnie at this time.

"I love you too, yeah, see you tomorrow Love, and Merry Christmas," Minnie said in an unhappy tone.

"Uhmm, Merry Christmas"

She put down her phone on the table After the conversation with her girlfriend

And glances at the food that she prepared earlier before Minnie called her. On the plates are Ham, kimbap, Thailand-style roasted chicken with coconut rice, and a bottle of wine

She put a flower arrangement in the middle of their square table covered with a green table cloth.

She looks at their small living area where she put the gifts under their Christmas tree. She already prepared it last week and just wrapped it yesterday. She prepares this surprise for Minnie such a waste.

She put her arms on the table and with a heavy heart, she let her forehead rest on it.
Miyeon silently cried on the table She really feel frustrated right now.

Miyeon wanted to go to her workplace. But she doesn't want to disturb Minnie during working time and besides, she feels shy with her co-workers
