"I found something!" Haejin shouted out loud without any context. It was almost twelve in the midnight, and she could not hold herself back from waking her roommate up.
Jang Rina lifted her upper body up to grab her phone. "What are you so noisy for? I told you, I'm going to sleep."
"I knew you were awake," Haejin said. "Hey, remember that story I was reading earlier?"
"Hmm? The one that got removed from the site?"
"Bingo. Guess what, I found somebody. This is the only account that the author has interacted with. This person's Instagram is linked, and I can find it in a click. Given that the author's socials are unknown, I'm going to message this guy instead."
"You're one heck of a book maniac, Song Haejin," was the only thing Rina could say.
Haejin carried on with her initial plan. After all, the plot she was following sure has led her so close to contacting the author. I bet this guy is his friend, Haejin thought. Haejin clicked on the link, redirecting herself to the Instagram account of the connection she apparently had found.
It was an account of a boy named Sim Jaeyun. "Layla loves you. Hmm, what a weird username."
