It was months later. Lucius and my father were in Azkaban, but our mothers had escaped all charges, just as Draco and I had since we didn't choose where our loyalties were at.
I was not upset about my dad being locked up because he needs it. He and Lucius get out in a few months, which is also just in time for the wedding.
I could not be more excited to marry Draco, again. No Voldemort and no hatred. We will be able to do things our own way, and I am so excited.
As I sat in the study designing some of the dresses for the wedding (I have sorta picked up a hobby for designing fashion), Cordi teetered in before falling right onto her rear. She burst into tears immediately which made me laugh as I walked over to pick her up.
Cordi learned to walk a few months ago and has been totally unstoppable ever since. She's caused so much trouble, but she is still absolutely adorable.
I stroked the little fly-aways from her eyes and kissed her head. "Where's daddy?" I asked since I knew he was the one who was supposed to be looking after her.
On cue, Draco sprinted into the study, makeup drawn on his face and his suit was covered in glitter. I had to stop myself from laughing by biting my lip.
He pointed an accusing finger right towards Cordi who had stopped crying.
"She's a nuisance!" he cried.
I raised an eyebrow and looked down at our one year old daughter who clung onto my shirt and looked away innocently.
"You look nice," I said, no longer able to control my giggles.
He glared at me and wiped the lipstick off of his mouth. "If you don't give me a boy soon, I swear—"
"Dada! Play!" Cordelia said, suddenly feeling the need to be crazy again.
He stopped whatever he was saying as I set her down. She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his legs. "Dada!" she giggled.
"Alright, what do you want to do my little princess?" he asked, suddenly becoming soft.
I shook my head and laughed before returning to my work of designing Narcissa's dress.
Later that night, Draco and I sat in our bed when our door slammed open and Cordi ran in. Draco groaned loudly. "Does she have any sense of privacy?" he cried.
"Cordi love, what's wrong?" I asked while I helped her climb on to the bed.
I glanced up at Draco who had his arms crossed. "I put her to bed hours ago!" he grumbled.
"Do you want to sleep with us?" I asked her.
She nodded and crawled right to the middle of the bed.
"But Blair!" Draco whined.
"Draco, we have every night for the rest of our lives," I replied.
He sighed loudly but put an arm over me so the three of us lay in an embrace.
"I love you," I murmured.
"I love you too," he responded, "and you too, you little nuisance," he said before placing a kiss on Cordi's head.
Despite it being late, she seemed to have so much energy. She giggled loudly and nestled into his embrace. His expression softened as he looked from Cordelia, and then back to me.

A couple of weeks later, my mother came to visit us since Draco and I were basically living at the manor with Narcissa for the time being.
