Lukas' POV:
I looked down to see that Cassie had escaped, but she hadn't gone through the portal, I knew that. I began to look around at the surroundings of the mansion first, nothing. So, sighing, I opened the door to the mansion and stepped inside. First, I checked the lair of the White Pumpkin, she wasn't there. Next, I checked the dining room, once again, she wasn't there. I then checked the library; she was nowhere to be found. Finally, I checked the painting room, to my shock, and somewhat horror, there she was, Cassie Rose, unconscious on the floor. I quickly ran over to her and made her eat something. I also, checked her pulse. It was very weak, but she was alive, and she was breathing. I quickly picked up Cassie in my arms and began to carry her away to beacon town.
