The professor looked up with a spark of something Hermione didn't recognize in her eye, and said " Well let's think about this logically. If the Headmaster has written all of this down then it is likely there is more we should be aware of in here."
Hermione Granger agreed and together they went through the next few entries.
They were floored by what they read.

How dare they! I should have known that stupid girl would ruin everything, I mean she doesn't even know she's got a squib grandmother. But no she just had to turn Potter against me, no matter I will just have to make sure they don't get away with this. Perhaps I can get rid of Tom and gain a new pawn along the way, yes this could work in my favor. Anyway I have much planning to do it will be best to get rid of those useless people tonight yes this should be good. But how to do this without drawing suspicion on to myself from the staff. Perhaps I just curs McGonagall to cover for me yes I think this will work."
" Well it appears I'm not the only one he has messed with." Said Hermione with a slight trimble in her voice.
