What if...

Part 5

So I wrote this right after publishing Part 4 although I'm not sure if I'll publish it the same day. Teehee. Either way I got a blast of inspiration and now Imma write. Again if anyone has any recommendations or ideas, please comment them below. 

Shunske and Kumagami sat down. Kumagami had no more interest of forcing Shunske back to work but was now worried about young Otosaka. 

"It might be best to keep him here. There have been suspicious movement around. We really don't want to put him in the same situation again."

"Why haven't you told me about this Kumagami!? This could be dangerous for Yuu! To think I wanted to take him back to school. I'm such an idiot!" 

Shunske brought his hands to his face and hid himself as Kumagami embraced him. 

"No, it's my fault. I didn't tell you. Please forgive me."

At that moment a buzz was heard from Kumagami's side and he pulled out his phone, answered and put it on speaker.

"Yes?"

"Good afternoon. I suppose I am speaking to Takehito Kumagami?"

"What do you want? Who are you?"

"It's simple. We want Yuu Otosaka. Now now, I know you wouldn't hand him over to us so easily but a life in trade of those of the precious school should be enough no? You should be hearing the news soon."

Shunske and Kumagami froze. Footsteps were heard and Medoki came running up. 

"Shunske! Kumagami! The schools!"

"Oh, it seems the news have arrived. You have 1 hour to make you're choice. Hand over Yuu Otosaka or let the souls in the school perish."

The phone hung up and Shunske let out a scream. No matter how hard he tried, no matter how many times he repeat his life, he still couldn't change anything. Kumagami started giving orders to Medoki as the others also came up. As the commotion was going on the door of Yuu Otosaka's room opened and everyone stayed quiet as the teen came out. He took small steps, not looking at anyone but Shunske who was still sitting and mumbling quietly to himself. Yuu put his hand on his brothers shoulder and Shunske flinched. 

"Nii-san."

Shunske grabbed on to Yuu's hand and quickly got up. "Yuu, I'm sorry. Did I wake you up? You shouldn't be walking around yet, you haven't gotten the all clear from the doctor. Go back to-"

"Nii-san. Please stop. I'll go."

Shunske felt his heart drop. He was silent for a moment before grabbing onto his little brother's shoulders and shaking him.

"No. It's dangerous. They want you. It'll just be a repeat of what happened. No. I won't allow it! I won't!"

Yuu brushed his brother's cheek that were now filled with tears.

"I'm terrified. But I won't let my fear let Nao, Misa, and Takajo die."
