He didn't know what inspired Dream to finally clean the junkyard he called a room. All he could think of the whole time was, what if George were there?

He recalled when the fans were excited to hear about the 'Dream Team' meet up, but now, with Dream and George's fall out and Dream being MIA; nobody knew what to expect. Dream had even contemplated deleting all his accounts and disappearing, but what good would that do?

He scrolled through his 'notes' app in the kitchen, coffee in his hand. He'd written a bunch of things on there that he'd wanted to send George, apologies and confessions included. Dream's heart ached as George's last words to him kept replaying in his head.

  "I can't see you anymore. I can't do this."

Why did George give up on him? Why didn't George give him a chance? All those questions, and yet, he had no answer.

His phone buzzed, and he got jolted back to reality.

  A text from Sapnap.

Hey man, pls give me a call?

Dream opened his messages with Sapnap and gasped at the number of texts Sapnap had sent him since he'd gone off social media. Hundreds of texts- maybe even thousands. Guilt swarmed him as he realised how shitty he'd been toward Sapnap the whole time when all he wanted to do was help.

He composed himself, trying to sound as normal as he could, he called Sapnap. It took two rings for the man to pick up.

"DUDE! What the hell?" Sapnap yelled into the phone, causing Dream to flinch slightly.

"Hey, I'm good, thanks," Dream responded sarcastically.

"Yeah, my bad. I was worried."

"I know. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Things have been tough," Dream didn't want to let him know too much.

"Yeah, George told me what happened."

  Dream froze. He knew?

"W-what did he say?" Guilt started choking Dream slightly.

"He said you confessed to him again; he confessed to you. You forced him into dating you, and he refused, so you got mad, and he left," Sapnap replied.

  What the fuck?

"That's not what happened. I didn't force him, and I wasn't mad. George got mad and left," Dream couldn't believe George had victimised himself like that.

  "Really?"

"YES!" Dream's guilt turned into rage as he balled up his fists.

Recently, he'd been punching walls as a way to vent out his frustration.

  "Well, why did he lie?"

"I don't know," Dream shook his head; he still couldn't believe it.

"How are you holding up?" Sapnap asked gently after a long pause.

It was at that moment; Dream felt most vulnerable. Hearing Sapnap's voice after all that time made him weak. He wanted to cry and tell Sapnap everything.

"I'm not," he admitted, breaking down entirely.

He cried into the phone as he told Sapnap how he hadn't been eating properly, how he missed George and hated him at the same time. He told Sapnap he wanted to feel normal again, not think about George or hurt himself in the process.

"We were supposed to meet up this month," Dream reminded Sapnap, wiping his tears.

"I know. I wanted to ask you if you wanted me to come over and live with you. Seems like you could use some company," Sapnap mentioned.
