As Aether and Childe finished eating Aether's cooked meal, Childe humbly praised Aether for his delicious cooking, It made Aether chuckle and thanked Childe but still thought about how he could read those notes inside the cabinet without Childe noticing, that's when Aether thought of something as Aether looked at Childe and said,

Aether: Childe!

Childe: What is it?

Aether: Do you want to sleep with me?

Aether said making Childe a bit shocked but flusteredly, Childe agreed as they both headed upstairs in Aether's room, As they entered the room, Childe quickly sat down on Aether's bed as Aether started rustling through his closet for something,

Childe: What are you looking for?

Aether: A spare futon.

Childe seemed a bit shocked as his face quickly turned a bit red, He then covered his face with his hands totally embarrassed, Aether saw and asked,

Aether: Are you okay?

Childe: Y-yes, I just...thought something else when you said "Sleep with me"

Childe said with his hands still stuck onto his face but Aether didn't seem to quite get it and decided to forget about it as he continued to search for a spare futon, After a few seconds, Aether had found a futon for Childe to sleep in and laid it down on the ground as Childe already went inside the warm comfortable futon that Aether had laid down on the ground, Aether sighed and went towards the light switch so they could sleep, as Aether switched the lights off, he then slowly walked and tried to feel where his bed is, as he did, he felt a hard wooden surface and climbed on top of it knowing it was his bed,

Childe: Aether...

Childe said unexpectedly making Aether flinch from shock but quickly regained his composure and responded back to Childe,

Aether: What is It?

Childe: Do you..like Xiao?

Aether seemed surprised by Childe's question as he thought of it in his mind, "Do I like Xiao...?" Aether said Curiously, As Aether was thinking, he realized all the things they did and went through, especially the kiss back at the beach. It quickly made Aether blush and accidentally shouted,

Aether: NO!

Childe seemed to be shocked by Aether's sudden loud shout, as Aether cleared his throat and tried to explain himself more clearly,

Aether: I- I mean...I only like him as a friend.

Childe: I see...

Childe said as silence fell, The atmosphere felt very awkward but after a few minutes, Aether took peek at Childe to see if he was sleeping, Aether saw with just a little bit of light emitting from his window that Childe was facing away from Aether's bed, Aether didn't know if Childe was asleep or not and so to test that theory, Aether quietly leaned in closer to Childe who was sleeping on a spare futon beside his bed as he whispered,

Aether: Childe...?

Aether whispered, wondering if Childe was awake but Childe didn't seem to respond, It made Aether sure that Childe was asleep and got up from his bed really slowly as he tip toed towards the door to open the it, As Aether was infront of the door, he quietly opened the door trying to not wake Childe, As soon as Aether got outside his room, he quickly went downstairs to the kitchen to read those weird letters inside the cabinet, when Aether arrived at the kitchen, he opened the cabinet where he saw the weird letters stored up, after he opened the cabinet and saw the stored up letters, Aether looked for a letter and saw a big envelope inside the cabinet and grabbed it, He then opened the envelope and inside was a long letter that reads,

"Dear Xiao, It's been a while since you've come back to the Qinqce, When will you be coming back? I am starting to get worried. If you stay for too long in the mortal realm, you'll know what will happen. You'd be severely punished as it says in our law. A Demon lurking around the mortal realm for too long becomes a soul that transforms you into a human with no memories of you being a demon, I would truly be unhappy if you forgot about us, Xiao. Please come back for your safety."

Aether was stunned by what was written inside the envelope, "is that why Xiao left?" Aether said in his mind as he took a deep breathe and started to rummage through all the papers inside the cabinet and found 2 other envelopes, Aether quickly opened the 1st letter as it read,

"Dear Xiao, I know why you haven't came back yet, is it because of that little mortal you're serving? If so, you have to stop. You can't fall in love with a mortal, you know what happened the last time you did. i am saying this for you and your mortal's safety, Aether's soul would be taken away just like last time, so please come back home to Qinqce."

After reading this letter, he read the 2nd letter in his hands,

"Dear Brother, If you don't come back right now, I will tell your little blonde of your's your secret that you've been hiding from him, we already kept our mouth shut so you better keep your end of the deal. Dad is getting impatient and worried too, you won't last any longer in the mortal realm, can't you see that your acting like one of them again? So come back you yaksha. I'm worried too."

Aether seemed even more stunned and had so much questions going through his head,
"My Soul would be taken away?!"
"Like last time?"
"What does it mean"
"Safety from what?!"
"What really happened when he fell in love with a human..?"
"Why...?"
"Qinqce?"
"Secret?"
"Yaksha??"
Aether couldn't handle the flood of questions he had in his head which made him drop the letter he was reading down onto the kitchen floor, When he realized how much secrets Xiao kept from him, Aether wanted to scream out of frustration until he heard a soft shout,

???: Aether?

Aether seemed surprised for Childe to be awake already but then quickly grabbed the letter he dropped and closed the cabinet as he hid down behind the kitchen counter, The voice got closer and clearer that Aether realized that it wasn't Childe,

Xian: Little Blonde??

It was Xian, Aether couldn't believe Xian was calling out for him this late in the night and decided to show himself as he got up from the kitchen counter and called out for Xian,

Aether: Xian, what are you doing here??

Xian quickly looked over to Aether who was calling his name and took some steps closer to him as he spoke,

Xian: I need to tell you something.

Aether: What is it?

Xian: Xiao won't be coming back this Sunday

Aether: What?!

Xian: That's all I can tell you.

Aether: Wait- what?! Xian Wait!

As Aether was about to speak, Xian disappeared from his sight, it made Aether even more confused on what was happening, What were the demons hiding from him? Aether sat down on one of the chairs inside the kitchen and couldn't stop thinking about their secrets.
