The Lantern Stars Festival

In the Morning

Childe have awoken from his slumber, he yawned and rubbed his eyes as he looked to see if Aether was still sleeping on his bed but when he saw that he wasn't there, Childe was confused since Aether was on his bed when he went to sleep last night, he then got up from the futon and opened the door as he headed downstairs as he thought Aether was downstairs cooking breakfast but when he got to the kitchen, Childe saw Aether sleeping restlessly on a chair with the rest of his body leaning forward on the table, Childe seemed surprised but went towards Aether as he sat down at a chair next to Aether and admired him sleeping so soundly as he tried to reach out to touch Aether's hair, Aether started to move and wake up which caused Childe to quickly take his hand back, Aether woke up as he removed his arms on the table he had slept on and rubbed his eyes, Aether then looked beside him and saw Childe sitting in a chair beside him, it surprised Aether as he asked still feeling drowsy,

Aether: What are you doing..?

Childe thought Aether knew that he tried to reached out to touch his hair and didn't know what to answer as he grew nervous along with his heart that was beating rapidly and his face turning red, he quickly got up the chair and headed for the front door because of flusteredness, as he was standing infront of the front door about to leave he looked back at Aether and spoke,

Childe: Aether, I'll see you at the festival!

Childe said as he waved goodbye, Aether agreed with Childe's statement and waved him a goodbye, Childe then left through the front door leaving Aether, Aether still felt a little drowsy but woke himself up by slapping himself gently on both of his cheeks, that's when Aether saw Childe's lantern that Childe seemed to have forgotten and thought to return it on the day of the Festival.

"The Lantern Stars Festival"

It was the day of the Lantern Stars Festival, Everyone seemed to be excited for tonight, Aether excitedly hurried downstairs and called the rest of his friends if they were going out to celebrate the Lantern Stars Festival, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Bennett, Razor, And Thoma were all coming to the festival although Gorou and Kazuha didn't seem to have the time to celebrate it, What a shame. As Aether was about to call Childe, he suddenly got a call from Albedo, Aether was surprised but answered the called and spoke,

Aether: Hello, Albedo?

Albedo: Aether, are you by any chance going to participate in the Lantern Stars Festival?

Aether: Yes, I am! I am going with Childe and Teucer. Why do you ask?

Albedo: Well...is it okay if I tag along with you..?

Aether: Oh? Sure! But why?

Albedo: I..don't wanna be alone with someone.

Aether: You're going with someone?

Albedo: Yes...

Aether: So...Why do you wanna tag along with me, Childe and Teucer?

Albedo: Just because.

Albedo said as he quickly hung up saying this statement, It made Aether confused but decided to forget about it, as he awaited for night to fall.

"About 6:17 P.M at evening"

Aether was getting ready to go to the festival, He wore an off sleeved shirt that had a turtleneck with a big long scarf wrapped around his shoulders, Aether then braided his hair like usual and excitedly rushed downstairs and grabbed the Three Lanterns and put each one in a big bag, Which one was made by Aether and The other was made by Childe and the other was specifically made for Xiao, Aether then left his house and went to the festival.
