• beauxbatons has years 1-4 which are ages 18-22.
• first year students are given a tour of the school by fourth-years as a welcome to beauxbatons. it is a bit of a bonding experience and tends to get emotional, as it brings the fourth-years to memories of their first years at beauxbatons.
• each fourth year year is assigned a buddy who is a first year for them to act as a guide for.
• each year has a head boy and girl the students are selected by the headmaster/headmistress and judged by their character. the heads of their years are the only students who have an exception to many rules. head boys and girls are to maintain discipline and report all news to faculty/staff.
• each house has a quidditch team with 7 people.
• each house has a professor who represents said house.
