the brisk fall wind whistled through the corridors of beauxbatons, leaving in its wake the promise of colder months to come. but with a cheery fire burning in every grate, the castle hadn't yet succumbed to the chill of winter. students milled about the grounds, exploring and entertaining themselves while the weather permitted.
meanwhile, the new students who had only just begun their magical education dove into their studies with palpable excitement. older students, more accustomed to the routine demands of their lessons, remained less than enthused. september has begun: students are getting settled in and classes are underway!
not everything is fun and games. a student has gone missing following the start of term feast. she disappeared without a trace and now tension is at an all time high. theheadmaster and professors are determined to find her, however, the school year must go on.
OOC INFORMATION
During this event: Students will be exploring the castle and attending classes. There isn't really a set time compared to the last chapter which all took place on the first day back. This takes place during the whole month of September. Players should feel free to engage with all other players, regardless of house or age. There will be mini-events for everyone to participate in. The last chapter is closed so no more new chains there but old ones can be finished.

CLASSES ❦
Classes have begun! Professors can create a chain and have a scheduled lesson for their students. There can be any lesson for the class as long as it relates to the type of class the professor teaches. The students in the class can be from any House while I'm class but must all be from the same

QUIDDITCH TRYOUTS ❦
The three Houses are hosting tryouts for this years Quidditch teams as well as choosing a captain! The season is coming up soon so the teams must be assembled fast. All students will have their merit tested for a place on their House's team. A seeker, three chasers, two beaters, and a keeper must be per team.

FORBIDDEN FOREST TRIP ❦
As a joint herbology, potions, and care of magical creatures lesson, the three professors have decided to take a trip into the woods for students of all years to learn. The forest by Beauxbatons is very ancient place with many secrets and houses plenty of magical creatures and plants, both friendly and dangerous.

DUELING CLUB ❦
A group of professors have decided to open up the Beauxbatons dueling club to all those willing to learn how to defend themselves as well as prepare the students for the upcoming dueling tournament. It's open to students from all years as well.
