The students of Hogwarts were on their last Hogsmeade village trip of the school year. The trip was cut short from a full weekend to one day, but the students were alright with that, since many of them weren't even expecting to be allowed to go at all. And thankfully, it was a bright summer day, and the sun was set to go down quite late, so the students would be allotted extra time before returning to Hogwarts castle. Of course, there were many students who weren't granted permission from their guardians to go, but it was still a good turnout of teenagers.

Ophelia and most of her friends were allowed to go, and she went with her small group of close friends as well as a few extra friends from her year. The six of them wanted to hit everything they would in a normal Hogsmeade trip, so they tried to compact their day into the best schedule they could.

But by six o'clock in the evening, her and her friends had done everything they wanted to do, and were just relaxing on a bench by Ollivander's Wand Shop. They were all enjoying sweets they had purchased earlier from Honeydukes, and were chatting about nothing.

Actually, they were chatting about a romantic prospect for Daisy Hookum, but it wasn't much of a debate, since she clearly had her eye on someone already.

"Well there's that one lad in Hufflepuff who kind of smells like cheese." Thomas said.

"Oh yeah, that's true. Didn't you smell him when we did the Amortentia potion at the beginning of the year?" Ophelia asked Daisy.

"I hate that bloke." Barty muttered, but everyone ignored him.

"I did, yeah." Daisy said, responding to Ophelia. "I kind of like him, I think."

"Well, you should go ask him out." Regulus spoke up. "I mean, we only have one more year of school. You don't want to miss your shot."

"That's true. Maybe I will." Daisy smiled.

The group seemed satisfied with Daisy's response, hopeful for her and the other Hufflepuff boy, and they all resumed eating their sweets. After a second, Pandora looked up with a pensive expression.

"Wait, you two made an Amortentia potion earlier this year?" She asked Ophelia and Daisy.

"Yeah." Ophelia said. "I told you about it, remember?"

"I feel like I would certainly remember you making an Amortentia. Who did you smell? Spill!"

"I didn't smell anyone. I left right after we made it, I'm-" She trailed off when her eyes wandered the street and noticed a familiar face walking towards her. "Sirius." She blurted, then waved to him.

Sirius smiled at Ophelia and made his way over to her and all of her friends. She stood up from the bench and hugged him, since this was the first time they've seen each other in months.

"Sirius!" She squealed as she stood up on her toes to near Sirius' height. "Oh, I missed you! How have you been?"

"Quite well, darling." He beamed, his arms now enveloping Ophelia's upper body. "What about you? How has life been treating you since Christmas?"

The two of them let go of each other and took a step back. Ophelia realised that there were people around them still, as she had lost focus of them when she first saw Sirius.

"I've been really good." She smiled. "I'm friends with Reggie again, as you can see."

Ophelia moved slightly to the side and gestured to all of her friends sitting behind her. Sirius shot them all a quick wave, and though he knew most of them, only greeted Regulus by name.

"Regulus, good to see you again." Sirius said.

"You too, Sirius."

That was the end of the cold greeting between the two brothers. It saddened Ophelia to see their distance, as she was close with both of them and knew that they once had a much more amicable and brotherly relationship. Nevertheless, she hid those melancholy thoughts and turned back to Sirius.
